  1. What Massman is trying to say is this: Kidding bro! You've been kicking out some great scores recently Just.... not as great as your memes
  2. Google clearly needs an in-house overclocker
  3. Uh-oh..... just happened!
  4. Is there a Powertune-disabling BIOS or was it just a myth?
  5. I'll test the 1.42v chip in the next couple days, but i'm not expecting anything great. I'm not really interested in anything under 6.5GHz, so I guess I need to be aiming at ~1.32v for 5GHz
  6. L212B244 Malay. 5GHz 2C/2T @ 1.45v (Spi 32M) and L212B244 Malay. 5GHz 2C/2T @ 1.42v(Spi 32M) ........5.8GHz 3DMark -100, 1.75v
  7. Y'know what..... been wanting to say that for a while, couldn't think of a good way to word it
  8. It's not that Fester is too old, you are too young
  9. Random question.... given what some are saying about even multipliers needing less voltage for the 5GHz pretest, did you try x60?
  10. For the guys with chips that do 5GHz at low volts..... do your air MHz extend to 5.2-5.3GHz with ease (still 1.50v or less?)
  11. Well.... if the limit is adjusted so more than just the cherry chips can compete, may as well do the same for IMC. If there is a MHz cap, the score comes down to memory and OS, so the golden chips still win... OR.... the average chips go under LN2 to compete. I'm not whining per-se..... just pointing out the "problem" Is it a competition for OS tweaking and SPi technique.... or a competition to see who has the best IMC & memory?
  12. Rule out the top memory MHz too?
  13. Ah.... that changes things a bit Fair enough
  14. If they move, why would they complain? They move, they are not moveD. Important difference
  15. ....but the Pro league is unenforced. If someone bins 200 CPUs in a warehouse and buys two, they are still buying their own hardware.... and if challenged, can show the same quality of receipt as anyone else here can. It's like Massman (annoyingly, but understandably) said...... "we can only make rules for things we can enforce" Are HWB going to put in place RULES for entry to the pro league and move people over whether they like it or not? I don't even know why i'm "against" this.... in theory, it makes my life easier, to have some of the competition moved to another league
  16. If I hadn't killed so many along the way, my G80 & G92 binning would leave me in profit. I mean..... all the rejects that I sell... I usually make a few £. It's just a shame that most of the good ones that make it to LN2.....die. Does that make me Professional? R-O-F-L NO!
  17. AFAIK, the chips "released" to be binned by local OCers are used in OEM machines. They're going to be tested anyway before sale That discussion is seperate to this one and.... not really HWBs problem
  18. IMO, it cannot be as blanket as that. If someone sends me e.g....a PSU, I should move to Pro League? How exactly does one PSU give me an advantage over everyone else? Same for a memory kit. What if it's not a competitive kit? I hope this makes sense.... there is "access," "Access," and "ACCESS"
  19. How do you prove it, where do you draw the line? TECHNICALLY, having access to bin 200 CPUs for free, then buying the best two, is more legit than just buying a pre-binned mega chip from the CPU mafia.... at least those people are doing the work themselves BUT...... yes, some people have to buy each and every CPU they test and there is a divide between people with access and people without.
  20. Retail get'n guuuuud! Nice MHz, nice score. Congrats!
  21. Adolf touched himself?
  22. non-retail, not available, but not under NDA :p trollolololol
  23. I recently had a result come up as "PCI" as well. It really really wasn't PCI
  24. Even if he is a God, sticking your finger into a spinning fan is really dumb Maybe it was some trick to impress his "entourage"
