oh man that sucks, have you figured it out yet. I got a couple 8800 gts cards on ebay for as little as $20. It would be a nice cheap card to try first.

No sky bios works on mocf, it's built in but then xtu doesn't work. So non sky xtu, sky everything else and as much bclk as chip can handle

also the inf file in that thread is only for xp 64 bit. You would also have to use driver 364.72 the .inf I was talking about is the one leeghoofd posted in post#8 of that thread. Use that inf with xp64 and 364.72.

ya it happens to me a lot with skylake, especially when using a ghost image or image from other computer. I mostly used x99 for new 3d benches and multi threaded 2d so I dont think I installed xp on it much.

ya that happens all the time, you just have to go thru them and tell them to not pop up again. But ya it sounds like you need to try a different inf

Selling delidded 6700k. Seems like a really nice chip. Best out of 4 I tested. The best I have done 2d so far is 6.3ghz and 6.4ghz aquamark. I have thermal grizzly on there now, can send re-sealed or delidded. with x99 you have to change ahci to ide, maybe that's it. I'm sure you know but just figured I would mention it. Unless you slipstream ahci into xp iso. I cant think of any other reason it wouldnt work.

well 102.9375 is limit for locked i3 without sky boost. so one step higher will lock pc

thanks a lot, I was benching my 580 and since cpu was already cold I figured I would get a quick run in for div I round 2. It was after like 4hrs of benching so my efficiency sucked and my os and timings werent tweaked, should be much better for the mhz

wow amazing score. I hate to say this but there is something really wrong with this bench. I mean your memory is 300mhz higher then scores above you At first I thought ok it's probably an asus using 4 dimms but then it looks like it's only 2 on asus. Something is way off.

I think it was probably around 1.45v. To be honest I had already delidded it and I had paste on there for ln2 clocking and I made the gap a little bigger with tape so I'm pretty sure my temps were terrible for air so its probably a bad chip to compare to. From now on I will test before delidding, but the 4.8 chip does 6.1hwbot prime. I only have 6.0 on profile but it passed at 6.1 but I ran out of ln2 and the save file crashed. http://hwbot.org/submission/3172637_strong_island_hwbot_prime_core_i3_6320_5554.24_pps See for me it's different. If I can only get 2 chips then I will try them on ln2 no matter what they do on air. I don't have a huge selection so I cant really be picky and it really only takes a couple liters to do a full mhz test on i3 for hwbot prime. Either way that sounds like an awesome chip and if it scales like mine it should easily do 6.0+

cool thanks guys, I know that's been the case in general with skylake, was just hoping for a miracle, but this one is the worst chip I have ever really tested on air, dont really have enough money to bin a lot, but I got another 6100 to test tonight. I really want to finally use this board but just no great chips, might finally invest in binned chip. Wow dj that cpu looks amazing, so jealous, haha
