Is there any possible way to still get keys for 3dmark 03. It really sucks to have a benchmark that a lot of people can't get top scores for.

I wonder if getting LET in there would cause the same problem. I didn't realize the hole was there at first and LET came thru to the socket. It didn't touch any pins. I was getting a real nasty cold bug within a huge range of temps. Gonna try a different board. Thanks for the info.

I think I just got the 580 classified evbot firmware. I can't test it until my card gets here. i didn't want to buy the card until I knew I had this. I will send you a pm with it now. Hopefully the .hex file in there will work with the evbot gpu flash tool. If anyone else needs it please let me know.

well I have pm'd a bunch of people from EVGA and I have been looking everywhere. if I find it I will definitely post a copy here or send it to whoever wants it. I wish I had a second evbot. They feel so cheap and I am always worried mine will break.

ya there still pretty expensive on ebay also. I thought for sure all I needed was the evbot but I think I need a special evbot firmware. It looks like it would be a fun card to freeze. I am going to try out the lightning tonight.

ya that would be cool. I have voltage control working on the 580 lightning with a few of the afterburner hacks but abx would be much better. For some reason I thought a newer version would work with older cards but I guesss not. I can't believe that 580 classy firmware is so hard to get.

I have a new copy that works great with the 290x lightning so I figured it would work with all lightning so I bought a few but it doesn't work. It's still a little tough for me just starting out because I don't have a lot of connections yet. I have pm'd everyone I could think of. If anyone has a copy of either one it would help me out a lot. I want to grab a couple 580 classy's but I heard you need special evbot firmware to go above 1.3v. I'm sure it's been a long time but does anyone have a copy of the 580 evbot firmware. I would really appreciate it. Thanks a lot.

Thanks for the tip. I was going to try that last night. I had already setup my drive and didn't have a lot of ln2 left so I didn't want to mess with anything. I should be able to get more out of this card. it's not as great as the kingpin I killed but it's still good.

what happens now. Do the top 10 teams move onto another round or is it over.

yes we were benching together. it was his first time and I was just trying to show him how to do everything. I told him he could take some screenshots for another website that I didn't submit to but I asked him not to submit them here. I explained to him the rules so he removed the scores and I will never let someone do that again. I am really upset over this. I was just trying to show someone a good time and be a nice guy but it turned out badly. Everything that was used was mine and I made submissions before this with even higher clocks so hopefully everyone knows I wasn't cheating

the person who submitted there scores has now removed them after i asked. Is there anything else I should do.

i don't know what other people are posting but that's my house, my card, my motherboard, cpu and pots.

ya I was just going to say that. I saw some people mentioning the same thing about your recent submissions. I have a 780 ti classy incoming, so this weekend I will see how it does frozen compared with the kingpin. On water I was getting 8.6ghz on the memory with my ti and 8.4ghz on my other one. It's a shame because with the core clocks we are getting with a little bit more on the memory our scores would be insane. But overall I love my kingpins. It's amazing to have a fully unlocked card like this without any hard mods.

I can't even get another 50mhz on the memory. That is my memory completely maxed out on ln2. 3 cards now basically show the same behavior. I love the card don't get me wrong but if someone could find one with good memory it would really be a beast. This was at 1.85 fbvdd. I am afraid to go any higher. I tried 1.88 but it didn't help. I get 7500mhz on water but I lose almost all of it on ln2.
