  1. Mail is not public unless specified in your profile. Wasn't the 6800LE modable to a 6800GT? I used to own one, and flashed it so all the 16 pipelines would work (instead of 8).
  2. I'll be away for the weekend but I'll merge the other ones early next week.
  3. PCLab.pl succesfully merged with UTP. What about this team? http://www.hwbot.org/team.do?teamId=1569
  4. Okay, it was a brainfart of me. It's fixed now, when you supply a valid futuremark url, a screenshot is no longer necessary.
  5. I thought a screenshot wasn't necessary when you supply a correct 3dmark compare url? I've must have made an error, let me check.
  6. A good screenshot suffices for non top 20 hall of fame results.
  7. You may send in the score if you warn us about it. It will get blocked from the rankings, but allowed for charts.
  8. Yes, it should be in service. We receive a lot of those reports. To double check whether your report has been registered, you can click the last icon (a log book), which should mention your report.

http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/813/813214p1.html Anyone tried the PC demo yet? I fear this game is going to put my 7300GT to shame... 11. 1) yes, the hwbot engine supports 1 team, multiple fora since rev2.0. However, a good interface for merging teams is missing and but has been coded already for v2.1. So if you can wait a few weeks until v2.1, i'd be easier. 2) no. by merging to one team you all become ... one team. The only difference between a normal team is that your bots can scan multiple forums, but you will be presented as one team. To see how it looks, check out H.O.T.: http://www.hwbot.org/searchTeams.do?teamId=1632&name=H.O.T.+%28Hellas+O%2FC+Team%29 If really wanted, I could add functionality to search or list scores by 'sub' team, based on the forum that has been scanned.
  12. It's not your fastest aq3 score, and being the 56th 8800gts isn't good enough to receive points.
  13. You can create it yourself: log in on hwbot > options > create new team
  14. Guys, even if every member paid 5$ a year, hwbot could barely support one full time person. Even if we had one full time person which keeps an eye on everything, it's nearly impossible to have a sport without people trying to breach the rules. Heck, the FM Orb has a full time guy which keeps eye on the database, and there are more faulty results in the FM orb than on hwbot. Making people pay for hwbot is neither an option or a solution. Trying to bend/break the rules in a contest is part of the human gene. We will try to prevent it as much as possible, but don't expect any contest/sport (of a reasonable size) ever to be free of cheating.
  15. Good points, point taken. Massman is preparing an official statement about subteams, we're tightening the rules.
  16. I'm not sure whether I follow you 100% in point 3, but yes, if the new user made for the benchsession would be coupled to eg. OCZ benchmarking team, both the user and the OCZ team would gain hwboints from it.
  17. Well, it's an annoying subject. As the hwbot contest isn't done in a controlled environment, we have no way to be 100% sure people aren't swapping one cherry picked 8800Ultra around between team mates. Our official standpoint is this: sharing hardware for a one time bench session is allowed, but actively sharing hardware in order to get more points, is prohibited. We know we can't fully enforce this rule, we can only give warnings when we suspect ill behavior and act accordingly when there is no response.
  18. It depends on how you look at benchmarking. Do you try to have the fastest hardware, of do you try to have the highest benchmark score? Modding your hardware makes your hardware go faster, no doubt about that. Modding software just makes it easier for your hardware to run the benchmark application, but it doesn't make your hardware faster. Personally I think overclocking as a sport would be better of if no software tweaking was allowed at all, but I'm sure at least half my crew would disagree.
  19. Yeah, the MSI X1950Pro has the lowest default clocks of all X1950Pro's I've seen. It doesn't surprise me the MSI overclocks poor...
  20. Nice soldering skills, Maxi. Looks like a pro.
  21. For anyone who has ever owned a IBM Thinkpad.
  22. Yup, using different hardware will only give you 'hw points' multiple times, not 'global points'.
  23. There's a known bug in global points when the forum nickname differs from the hwbot login account nickname, they can be awarded multiple times. They aren't cheating, it's a very hard to fix bug on the algorithm.
  24. once, except for videocard rankings, which is once for single and once for sli.
