  1. Oddly enough I can't seem to replicate this on the Extreme board with the exact same settings. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  2. Finally cracked 2000MHz on B-Die thanks to the TWRRD_sg and _dg tip!
  3. Well now I just get code 41, i guess that's progress.[emoji19] [EDIT] I still had 1T set, 2T boots! Now to see if I can load Windows without crashing. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  4. I didn't even consider those values. I'll start with what Asrock sets and go from there. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I forgot E-Die works, but as far as 4 DIMM boards and B-Die go, OCF has no issues 4GHz 2T. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  6. Definitely 2T, I did attempt 1T but that wasn't working on either board. 2T boots fine on Asrock with 100BCLK, is the 4000MHz divider bugged on Asus?
  7. Any tips for booting Samsung B-die at 4000 on M8E? I tested a 6600k and 6700k with some LPX 3600C18, on Asrock with either CPU all sticks can boot into XP but on Asus, the board halts Code 3F no matter which CPU. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  8. Things magically started working (seriously, I have no idea what changed). Patriot Viper 4 DDR4-3400@3733 12-12-28-1T (I think this is max for this kit) Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3600@3866 12-12-28-1T no waza: waza:
  9. PCH voltage isn't doing anything here for 1T. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  10. A little bit of progress, should be in reach.

  12. How the heck do you get this board to boot B-die with 1T? My Patriot Viper 3400 2x8GB passed 32M 3733 12-12-28 1T on M8E but on OCF they won't even boot 3600 1T using the same CPU!
  13. New arrivals. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  14. I have 2x8GB Patriot Viper 4 DDR-3400 16-18-18 that is B-die, so far struggling to do 3733C12 1T (it boots but fails 32M after a few loops 1.85v). Awaiting delivery of some Corsair Vengeance LPX 4x8GB 3600C18.
  15. 3200C16 will likely be E-Die. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  16. That would be it, but good luck. I ordered one kit that had 2 DOA sticks, the replacement had one DOA stick. Perhaps I was simply unfortunate and there was a bad batch (both kits were from the same retailer).
  17. Trying to figure that out myself. B-Die 1T seems unnecessarily difficult. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  18. Really good sticks, 1.82v is insanely low. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  19. Finally the mystery is solved, thanks again Alex! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. No go at 3600 16-16-16 1.35v, at least when I initially tried. Maybe I should clear CMOS and give it another go. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  21. Testing Patriot Viper 2x8GB DDR4-3400C16 single-sided Samsung B-die on M8E at 1800MHz 12-12-12. No waza Waza
  22. I have quite a few PSC-based DDR3 kits (2GB sticks) left over from the Z77/Z87/Z97 days, need to get rid of them but I'm not sure what they're worth. 1 kit of F3-16000CL6T-6GBPIS G.Skill Pi 2000C6, 3x2GB. 2 out of the 3 sticks do 2666C8 tWCL6 tight 3rds at 1.85v and 1.86v respectively. KO-8117 PCB 1 kit of F3-16000CL7D-4GBFLS G.Skill Flare 2000C7, 2x2GB. Both sticks do 2666C8 tWCL6 tight 3rds at 1.88v. KO-8117 PCB 2 kits of F3-17600CL7D-4GBPIS G.Skill Pi 2200C7 2x2GB. Seem to need lots of volts for 2666C8, definitely above 1.90v. Both have KO-8117 PCBs. 2 kits of F3-176000CL7D-4GBXHD G.Skill Ripjaws X 2200C7 2x2GB. About the same as the Pi sticks in terms of voltage for 2666C8. One kit has green KO-8155 PCB, the other black BrainPower PCB. 2 kits of GET34GB2400C9DC Geil Evo Two 2400C9 2x2GB. Unsure of volts for 2666C8. KO-8117 PCB on all sticks. I also have a good BBSE kit, F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD G.Skill Ripjaws X 2133C8 2x2GB. Do 2666 8-11-7 tWCL6 1.93v (test). KO-8117 PCB.
  23. Got two kits of HyperX Savage 2666C13 AFR Friday. Had fits with one kit booting anything over 3200 but finally coaxed a 3600 12-18-18 run out of them. Sticks from the better kit can run tRCD/tRP 1 clock faster (17-17):
  24. Just be aware that retail AFR isn't always great, I have a kit of Savage 2666C13 that are worse than most of my MFR. Not even stable 3200C12. The other kit behaves like I'd expect AFR to, boots 3600C12.
