  1. The same thing happened to my OCFM. I'm not aware of any flashback option.
  2. I pulled out my Impact and tried testing these problematic sticks and I can't get it to boot higher than 3866. Plopped them in the X299 OCF+7740x and boot 4GHz with a bit of fuss. *shrugs* I don't know what to say.
  3. Not surprised the MOCF handled them well, but the Impact is a surprise. You didn't have to do any crazy tweaks? Maximus IX Apex and Rampage V Apex with KBL-X hate all my sticks with that layout.
  4. There has to be some logical reason why Asus boards hate B-Die with this particular PCB layout type: I have three kits with that layout, one 2x8GB Patriot Viper 4 3600C16, one 4x8GB TridentZ RGB 3600C17 and one 4x8GB TridentZ 3200C14. On any Asus board, 3866C12 is the max I can boot 1T and even that is a struggle. On the other hand, Asrock X299 OC Formula or MSI X299 Xpower with KBL-X can boot 4000C12 1T tight subs with all of them except some particularly weak sticks in the bunch.
  5. Trident 4266 still available? I'd also love to buy one of those Gigabyte OC panels. USA.
  6. There is an updated CCL that is for Z270 Xpower. Where the heck can regular people get it?! https://ithardware.pl/testyirecenzje/ekstremalne_podkrecanie_core_i7_7700k_na_msi_z270_xpower_gaming_titanium-2479-6.html
  7. Flare X 3200C14 seems really strong. 4GHz 12-11-11-28-1T tight subs without a huge amount of voltage. Soooooo close to 4133 12-11-11
  8. You and me both. What's the point of them announcing the product if they aren't going to put it for sale/only give it to certain pro OCers? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  9. I have 4x8GB Team Xtreem DDR3-2666C11 sticks, I think they should be able to do 2800 C12 easily.
  10. I have 4x8GB EVGA DDR4-3000 sticks that are single-sided Hynix, not sure if AFR or BFR. I'll have to check Thaiphoon burner.
  11. All my PSC Flares and BBSE Ripjaws X are gone, but still looking for appraisals on the PSC Pi, Ripjaws X and EVO Two sticks as well as some Samsung HCH9 2400C9 (4x4GB).
  12. I have some Patriot Viper 4 3600C16 with a very similar PCB. All Asus boards I tested hated them (M8I, M9A, R6A) but the MSI boards I tested could at least boot into XP at 4GHz 12-12-12-1T.
  13. Can I play too, guys?? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
  14. I get 49 on weak sticks. If you’re seeing that, 99.9% chance the simply aren’t going to run at those settings. My best advice would be to increase CR to 2.
  15. What if you’re limited to ambient cooling?
  16. I’ve been wracking my brain with those same questions every generation of hardware.
  17. Good luck finding one, they're EOL (and it seems Asrock didn't make that many to begin with).
  18. Great stuff, wish I had waited for the Rampage boards. I'll have to see how much of this I can apply to MSI Xpower.
  19. Binning some of my B-die on M9A, 4133C12 seems impossible so I just aimed for 4000 12-11-11 tight subs. TridentZ 4133 Pretty low volts, these might have the best shot at 4133. Dominator Torque 3200C14 Disappointing. 2.00v for 4000C12 is not impressive at all.
  20. Patriot Viper 4 3600C16. I can't get these to do jack. I wonder if it's this potato PCB. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
