  1. Will try my Gene again since I can connect OC Panel. I was convinced 4-DIMM boards couldn't do 4kC12 1T but I'm glad I was wrong.
  2. Great stuff. Unfortunately with M8I, most of us have no access to a Retry button Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. 0x3B means you need more vcore. You aren't likely to be able to do 4.7GHz under 1.4v. I know my 6700k needs 1.45v for 4.7GHz Prime95 stable 1 hour.
  4. I did a run 4.8/4.8 3866C12 1T tweaked subs and terts and got 1530, clearly something else is at play here. sabishiihito`s XTU score: 1530 marks with a Core i7 6700K
  5. PSC...32M...Not Exact in Round...AAAAAGH FLASHBACKS
  6. Wait, what?? I just noticed Tapakah's 4000+ 1T results! This is a 4 DIMM board and that is freaking amazing.
  7. XMP might not work since it's for Z170 like MAXKING said. Try manually setting speed, voltage and primary timings. You also may want to play with System Agent voltage.
  8. Could just be that one or both sticks won't run 1T. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  9. Turns out I did. Updated the firmware and I'm good. Set CPU to 4.4, cache to 3.7, loaded the AFR 3400 profile. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160703/9e25bcfec7b0d5f4d6611ff4b88588c5.jpg
  10. I frequently get 53 memory not detected code on POST even after clearing CMOS, I don't know if my R5E is dying or what. I think i figured out that the board isn't applying my VDIMM settings when the crazy loop happens as i cleared CMOS and left stock settings but just tried raising volts to 1.35. Getting back into the UEFI it still shows 1.2v.
  11. This is what happens when I'm trying to bench HyperX Fury AFR sticks at 3200C12 on R5E with a 6800k
  12. There was supposed to be a 2x8GB 3000C12 kit but I guess it never saw the light of day. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?280776-Gskill-TridentX-F3-2800C11Q-16GTXD&p=5189700&viewfull=1#post5189700
  13. I remember pushing some DS MFR to 2933 long time ago but it was only bench stable and the timings weren't the best. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  14. Anyone come across any retail AFR that nice? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. I feel like I should be benching my Z170M more than I have, considering how hard it has been for a lot of guys to get one.
  16. I know Impact is the best, but what I don't get is why the Gene is so much better than the Extreme, given they're both 4-DIMM boards with the same BIOS options. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  17. M8E seems pretty useless for RAM OC especially compared to the Gene. I can boot and bench B-Die 4000C12 2T and AFR 3866C13 1T on Gene but Extreme always gives Code 41. Same timings set manually on both. Sent from my SM-G928T using Tapatalk
  18. Finally got 2KC12 1T to pass on my new M8I. Mismatched sticks, but I only had 3 out of 12 B-die modules that would pass 32M at these settings and one needed more voltage than these two could be stable at.
  19. I still have a bunch of PSC, I posted an appraisal thread over at OCN: http://www.overclock.net/t/1586388/appraisal-psc-based-ddr3-kits Everything listed is still available. I don't have any prices set since I was checking to see what they are worth but we can work that out in PM.
  20. Fresh from NewEgg, can't wait to see how they do.
  21. Well no wazza and Asus 4-DIMM boards aren't supposed to be that efficient with only 2 sticks, right?
