I got only one PCB to run so far. The Bridge chip is causing some trouble with 2 epower boards So I just used a card with stock VRM today.

So I was benching with Stefan (crazzzy85) today and thought we'd share some pics here aswell Don't know about you guys but if we start benching everything looks realy nice and clean. During the days it just gets so damn messed up. I'm always surprised how much the hardware can actually handle and it still works perfectly fine. Ah yea - 56k warning Let's start with some 9800 GX2... ... while Stefan was benching a HD 5870 lightning Aftermath ´ Some other stuff laying on the floor Oh hey there is another mainboard underneath I think somebody messed up the manual Insulation and soldering corner ASUS Mars in the back and a 7970 Matrix burried underneath a broken 9800 GX2 No idea why there is a 8800 GTX laying on the radiator. Must be some stuff left from the country cup Setup by Stefan: Few other boards 260 and 275 lightnings more lightnings 30 L dewar and some jugs. Bigger 150 L dewar is outside Cupboard #1 Always something there to bench if I don't know what to choose Cupboard #2 Mainly GPUs L1N64SLI-WS. Cool board an nice CPUs but only 2 points per bench lol And some bling bling

Imo HWBot does not have to follow FM rules. I would set the same rules for 3DMark "12" like we did for 3DMark 11. Makes life much easier for benchers and we have the same rules for the different benchmarks. LOD is quite tricky as you have to find the correct value for each benchmark and it has (apart from 3dm2001) only a small impact on the result. The suggested poll by PJ sounds good tho.

Compared to about 7-8 years ago the community seems still pretty active to me. Of course there are a lot of new faces and some overclockers quit but I don't think overclocking is dying

Changed back to 3 x HD5870. You can't compare a 3 x GPU score with 4 GPUs. As 3 x HD5970 is not possible the score has to be 3 x HD5870 ranking. Especially because Aquamark scales weird with a different amount of GPUs. In addition the HD5970 has two HD5870 GPUs which are downclocked. So two HD5870 are usually faster than one HD5970.

I use some special teflon based sealing mass for the pots I sell. It's specified from -240 to +260 °C as it's a special thread sealing compound for LN2-pipe-systems. Works great That's how I seal the bottom plate of the RAPTOR3 aswell.

Nothing so far... I might host a bigger OC event but still to much to do with my uni exams Also I will propably not go to CeBit this year. Seems to be pretty boring.
