  1. Majority of mod staff appears to be busy with HOT. Try resubmitting from the OC E-sports page.
  2. Sammy B is single sided 8GB sticks. No DS Sammy B unless 16GB sticks.
  3. Show us a better pic of the board. Such a tease. Edit:- Lol loud. Edit2:- I like the original one better.
  4. @coolice Small request, when you guys eventually update the BIOSes for non-K CPU BCLK unlocking, it would be nice if we can have more DRAM voltage than 2.00V. I have only checked the Impact though, dunno about other boards.
  5. Your wish. But with the amount of rad space you demonstrated in that video, it can't be brought to 18C with ICE bucket. So you are using a chiller or something else. In conclusion, that video proved nothing. Peace out.
  6. Forgive me, where exactly can I see the ICE bucket in that video. Also, if you went through the trouble of making a video to prove that you are right, then why not wait till the run finishes & show the final score with it.?
  7. Sincerely doubt this could be accomplished even with ICE dipped rads. Has to be a chiller of some kind. I know he is a really good tweaker, I don't question his efficiency, I question his cooling.
  8. Agree with you guys. Enthusiast league is filled with people with chillers & stuff. Feel sorry for the "real" enthusiast guys who have to compete with these people using regular water cooling. If these people had balls, they'd move to Extreme league.
  9. DAT Vcore though. [emoji33] Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
  10. XTU on X99 doesn't care too much about memory. 3000-3200C12 or even XMP at those speeds should be good enough. But, you shouldn't be running Dual Channel.
  11. If only there was a way to decrease the cost of 3D benchmarking.... Oh wait there is Hwbot can't tell Intel to decrease the cost of 5960X, so we can have more competition, what it can do is disable point for 3D Benchmarks where CPU is more important that GPUs (some 3D benchmarking that is) & you need the most expensive Intel Processor to compete. For Example, remove points for regular FireStrike (maybe even Extreme) , 3D Mark11, etc & enable it on some benchs where you can compete with a regular 4core CPU, something like Firestrike Ultra. Most Gamers (also casual benchers) buy an i5 or i7 CPUs (maybe even lower) and a Single GPU. If we have more Benchmarks that focus around that config, you'll have more submissions, then you have more points. Of course, then there is the whole Backlash(justified) issue with disabling/removing points on the other benchs. Someone will need to think a solution for that. Last time this came up, I also suggested to @Massman to consider splitting 2D Bench points based on total HT+real cores of the CPU, instead of the real core count. This would decrease the points one would get for just owning a good 6700K or a locked i3 & would also things more "fair" for the non-HT guys. He said he was gonna look into it. Dunno what he did.
  12. That would actually be bad, because while tightening the hold down, it will slide the IHS forward. A better option that I did a couple of days ago was to put the CPU on top of a few layers of paper towels on a flat table & then put my F1 Dark on top of it. The paper towels are there because of the capacitors on the bottom of CPU, which prevent us from putting it, by itself, on a flat surface.
  13. Haven't had any issues with mine, except they could have included a better applicator. But this can be improvised. And the other one comes with the same applicator too. Not going to try the other one, unless something happens to this whole tube that I got or someone comes up with a drastic difference. Tbh its just a sealant, I don't expect an earth shattering differences between the choices. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk
