Nah...went into BIOS and started with changing GEN4 to GEN 2 but later put it back to GEN4 so don't think that was the problem. I think you have to disable everything (sound,ethernet, internal GPU etc.) as well as setting above 4G decoding and disabling re bar . I have a Tachyon....I can send you profile if you have same board. It was fun and much more fun than running a 4090 (plug and play) ? Worst GPU problem I have ever had AMD eh lmao

295x2. Having problems running 2 of these cards in crossfire (4 GPU's) on W7. Each card works fine on it's own but soon as the other card goes in , nothing , won't even boot. Any ideas guys ? Edit...got into BIOS getting ERROR: Insufficient PCI Resources Detected ?

If that is the case , should be lot more on the horizon with invalid scores . Glad I got rid of the 4090 and I am only benching "legacy" type cards .

Legacy acts strange now. Gave the csm bios a go but not as good as X4b . Mems are affected with legacy OS for some reason....7200 max with Win7 .....7800 no problems with win 10.

Give it a go , nothing to lose. It was either ice bucket or strip card and put some blocks on it and run off chiller...but card too good and rare to strip. It gets far too hot otherwise. It is phase (or single stage) BTW ?

Does seem weird that you can go out and buy a very expensive card and without any overclocking knowledge can get 100 points or more by just plugging it in and some basic settings. I have run a 4090 , I know how easy it is. Sort of takes away the time and effort we put into this hobby. Saying someone who is having more fun running a 295x2 on legacy. That is real fun ?
