  1. Sure, just make sure to have a 1080 for each eye. No need to get nauseous rocking anything less.
  2. 32m is like golf, you only need one decent shot and you're hooked
  3. Really, we've known this for at least 5 years http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=22522
  4. Tried having a play with OCF and Elpida BBSE's brother cold. First time using these supposed "rare" BBBG ic mems, new old stock. 8155 pcb, 2200c9-9-9-24 @ 1.55-1.75v. They booted in for me at xmp 1.6v I was looking forward to playing with these, I give them cold and this is what they give me. I'm just happy it wasn't my golden 4770k that popped, that's what I initially thought.
  5. Very true, afr likes cold but not like psc or bdbg. Only one concern I have is make sure it has some mass/weight to it or controlling temps will be impossible with lin.
  6. Underclocked 42% and still pulls off the win, 128gb vs 64gb give you the edge . So does 50% underclock with 100% more ram equal a tie ?
  7. I'm still trying to get some answers on this. I've noticed other RJ V kit's with the same 1550 production date that don't have anything in top left corner. The only kits that I know of with similar s/n are not US kits so maybe that has something to do with it. Maybe they were binned for 2195c12, maybe i'll try since 2100c12 was as high as I've tried and that takes 1.935 real V to get there. One can only dream, right Edit: guess it was 2110
  8. Send em this way, I'll freeze em for you. better yet bring to US LN2 Party and I'll bring some killer psc as well and we can aim for 32m Silver since Bullant's score probably un beatable

    Asrock Z170 OCF

I've got a new one as well, are you in the US part of the year and Austria the rest? Just wondering because that's what location says.
  10. Nice work JM ! Looks like you got the uncore and mems in sync with the frozen cpu
  11. I am trying to go as well and been looking for someone to go with to split costs. I would be willing to drive to you and carpool rest of the way. I'm in Milwaukee but you are around half way point. If there's no extra room for me no worries, but my schedule can be wide open (thur-mon etc) but just can't afford paying for room 3 nights solo on top of gas and missed work
  12. WOW, crazy good ambient chip 5250/5150 under 1.4v. Good score, and good find Roman
  13. Thanks guys, guess it's time to make a 2nd account an rule the Rookie Comps. I'm kidding of course I have respect for what we do and only ran XTU after seeing that the 5g challenge seems to be full legit now. 1800 is going to be very hard to beat and time consuming testing every combination of rtl/iol and the rest, I was stuck at 1780ish with mems fully maxxed out. Yeah eff falls off quickly no matter how good mems are Zero, I'll get you a 4.5g score in the next few days to compare with the AU LCC thread EDIT, Zero- ran 4.5 XTU real quick (one run) 1618 , so I think 1625 is possible
  14. Why do you say that ? Its tucked in under a desk in a hot room, when I crack a window to get temps down to 20C or so max load is 11.
  15. Oh Emma, you're so special but you already knew that CPU=SS/MEMS=AIR 1.910v Bios
  16. Looks like this was done on your SS, right? Says ln2 but not with -48C idle and 29 load. Just looking to make sure mine is running right and tightened down enough. At 1.5v (HWBot Prime)I was getting as high as 7C and after tightening it stays just below 0

    DimasTech?

They send you the little cheap stuff no problem, he's just waiting for you to place a big dollar order and that's when the grifter get's you
  18. Not even a little bit, please take as long as you need. Thanks for asking
  19. I'd be interested in doing the mod, depending on how involved it is or if there are too many downsides
  20. Your IOL's are 6/5 on the 1815 score and 5/4 on the 1812 so that run was a reboot (auto iol's) or did you make this change in bios. It looks like you are using iol offset's to control/tighten your RTL's due to the fact that your initial's are 60 in 1815 pick and 61 in 1812 when they would typically be 59.
