  1. You know, it could just as well have been dinos22 from the choice of my words, but you thought it was for you - I wonder why.... Got anything you wish to share? - Also, please take note, some of your posts are against the law here, more specific ยง267, however, I dont mind taking on a cunt, and I do not threat with bunnyextraction without actually following through - Im not a so-called chickenshit, you know, the kind you can identify yourself as. - BUT please, can you send me a PM if you wish further OT???? I dont really see how this is relevant for everyone else, hicookie is trying to help out the community.
  2. I certainly hope it will....! BTW; Once again, thank you le cookie, for listening to the community, its much appreciated that you take note of feedback and allow Gigabyte to work on it. We've had quite an era of "its your fault" by another staff member, also present in this thread

Well, it could be worse, just check Massman Credit to LG for photo!
  4. What she said! Also, please update with "Intel" "AMD" "Gigabyte" "MSI" etc. the vendor hosting the event or main sponsor that is.

    I think you'd rather sell a kidney!

... Hmm, is it that abnormal to keep, save, exhibit your best ramkit of any given era? BH5, D9DQT (Fatty), D9GTR, Hyper, PSC, best of each I've had, which survived, remains here........ Killed best BH5 287mhz 2x512MB on nF4 Ultra-D though
  7. Hope it will be solved, sure sounds like you have tried to reach him quite a bit! A month is a loooong time
  8. Well it all depends on what you are binning for, for max clock in 2D tests, teh way Sam suggested is pretty spot on, though I still think my chip with 1.308v 5ghz 32M is pretty decent However, for IMC binning its different, and again if you are going for 3D, start binning by benching 3D The buy prebinned, it all depends on your network if its cheaper or not, and if you are from USA or not.. In USA you can buy and sell with a 20 USD/cpu loss, other places expect 120 USD/cpu loss instead.
  9. OH great! Banana is better than chocolate, because you prefered bananasplit next to chocolatemouse? Pieter, sigh, seriously that is one dumb conclusion you've reached. - You do know there is a lot more parameters, dont make such a bold statement. Furthermore no, more layers is NOT same as more complex, in fact it is much more simple as less other components or traces block the path, hence; you can cross through layers.
  10. One can easily throw in a bunch of layers, it will just add to the cost, and not benefit, thereby be pointless, but the more layers, the easier it'll be to shorten the routing of the traces. Now I do not have the blueprints, nor do I think posting those online would make one very popular, but I have faith in them knowing their job fully, I do not in any way question the actual hardware of UP7. I just dont agree that the memory clocking got anything to do with layers. Without knowing it, I'd put my money on BIOS being the issue, the tighter, the lower frequency, and UP7 is meant to be a top performer. I personally do not see this is a negative if it is the case - it isnt entry level after all - But perhaps I should shut up regarding UP7 untill Gigabyte fixes their EMEA issues.
  11. Care to share how the additional layers of UP7 can be a negative on RAM overclocking? I feel like I can learn something here, its contradicting to everything that I've ever learned, but heck, I enjoy learning, care to enlighten me?
  12. Hmm, will link John Lam this thread, pretty sure he has tried across a few boards and OS'...
  13. Tried on various mobo various OS? I've experienced same, but different value. Didnt bother noting it though.
  14. how about..... PCMarks? I've heard that HDD/SSD performance has been boosted a little.
  15. You guys; Im signed up for the CPUs, lol. Life is too short for hating.... I still have my doubts that J.Lam cheated, frankly, I dont think he did - but, as I told him, I think he should be more careful with submitting, and experimenting, the ethics on what is allowed and not allowed, is far from mine "better safe than sorry" is not the approach of John Lam, he is alternating as much as possible, as long as it is not banned/disallowed, while I think it is best to verify that it is allowed before doing it.... He has the hardware, he has the knowledge, he should be better at asking himself "how will this be received by others"... SF3D helped enabling LOD (if I am not mistaking, please, dont get pissed if I am wrong), this could easily have been considered cheating, but it was commonly accepted.... FUGGER pushed it a 'little' further, this was cheating... John Lam is just like both, seeking what nobody else does for tweak.... I do not think John Lam does it to be 'bad' or because he does not care, I simply just think he tends not to think how the rest of the community will see the new 'tweak' or 'cheat'... - But somehow, I have a bit hard time considering John Lam the 'bad guy' there is so much corruption on hwbot, all of staff knows it but cant prove shit, so it is accepted.... Even some of the most respected members of the community condole what is considered cheating by hwbot..... If anyone have doubts what I mean, I dont believe that nobody else related to ASUS is involved with the scores submitted with no#1 in pro league - sure, im just a naive moron who is full of shit - its all legit... My 5 cents PS: I am not a fan of the brand eVGA, but I think Kingpin is the #1 in pro league, who is 100% against cheat, and would not do everything to be on top of things.
  16. pics or it didnt happen!
  17. Marc & Roger got quality gear, Flank3r is the slave, Roger is probably going for 1500 8-12-8 lol
