The Official GALAX GOC 2016 Worldwide Qualifier support thread
websmile replied to Massman's topic in HWBOT Competitions
I will make no problems for the 2D stages physics and 32m if another vga is used, but don´t emphasize it. Both stages are extremely memory dependant, so emphasize this instead -

The problem is that if it does not make a difference now, it might make a difference in the future, you never know. We cannot check each driver, each sysinfo update or benchmark GUI update with all possible configurations. Using default settings for resolution is safest way to guarantee same environment at benching for all, case closed, no cheating here, the only one who has a dmamage from this is Rule himself because he has to rebench^^ -

We are in constant contact with Galax and hope this will solve soon, means all shipped. depending on how fast this works (these are handbinned top mems and cards, you cannot grab everyday cores and ics) we will find a solution to keep the qualifier fair for all contestants. -
OK, next time please ask if something is unclear, registration is closed, sorry.

I tasked Pieter for this question, I fear you are too late though - maybe I am wrong

Small reminder, use the stated benchmark version and sysinfo, especially for stage 2 GPUPI for GPU 2,3x because I saw a lot of older versions lately at competition entries. This is not accpted anymore and upload of file will fail most likely anyway with older version

fixed - nächstes mal rechts oben editieren nehmen, das öffnet die Option das Ergebnis zu ändern -
Way below 1,3v, I also needed less than 1,35v for 3600 16-16-16-28 1T and around 1,35v for 17-1-7-17-28 1T 3733

Good afternoon

Then it makes no sense to use window mode, I would have to block the result for being non default benchmark settings. Try hotkey for oc tools, this often works with profiles
-
When resolution/benchmark settings are OK at fm link and shown result, I cannot check this anyway and afaik this has no influence on results. This is what I care about, the things I can check, so if you can provide a valid result with running this, it should be ok

RealBench Challenge 2016 - Challenge II Discussion
websmile replied to websmile's topic in HWBOT Competitions
OK, I checked top20 preliminarily. For the results I removed with reason "bugged test 1", feel free to contact Christian Ney and offer video proof or appeal the removal, I took in a 2-3% margin for real good tweaking over other results and lucky runs, but when there are 10% over other top and average results with same systems (and these are the only results with this characteristics) I have no choice then to see plausibility check failed at given settings -

Generally verification links are needed for competitions, on fun contests we make exceptions. The problem is if submissions with altered benchmarks settings are posted, I have no choice but to remove them, and I know you plan GOC for example. This is no sarcasm at least from my side, but information that might save you from desaster at future qualifiers -

If the issue still remains for challenge 3, we will make a heads up at rules section or stage rules -

Rebench, Franco, the resolution should not give an edge anyway, but 3d11 rules apply also for subtests. After recent incidents we all know that making "own rules" only hurts the game -
RealBench Challenge 2016 - Challenge II Discussion
websmile replied to websmile's topic in HWBOT Competitions
There is no way to submit atm than bench with internet connection and directly submit. We are working at a fix to make save file and submit work, it is a problem in the program itself, the competition is really helpful to find stuff like this (and others) and improve realbench for the user and future points enabled - Sorry for inconvenience, your feedback is appreciated @meankeys and @Slinky PC Your test 1 results are much too high for the given frequency and system used. I would strongly recommend to re-bench, because these will not stay at the competition for me, I will task these to head of moderation for second check but for me these are invalid - sorry, but plausibility check is part of the game not only for xtu -
Sigh, the 3dm11 rules apply for the competition and also for 3dm11 physics, I really wonder why people always change things after their own gusto. It is part of 3dm11 and it should be clear you don´t change settings.

I already explained that we have four stages to cover all possible newer systems including amd. I see no rational reason to prefer sponsored 1700 dollar cpu ocers by allowing 2011-3 on a multi threaded low clock stage because there is no core limitation on this stage. The program is well balanced
