  1. I am not too fond of sandbagging, I am not australian - sad to see this, but next time it might be better to upload results a bit earlier^^
  2. You fail All checked, two results removed due to insufficient verification (please do not hide benchmark settings at 99, this also includes cpu instructions used for benchmark) - good job, for me the result now is final up to possible recheck, but I think I did not overlook invalid results. Overview needs to be recalculated though, but it will not change first places Good job
  3. OP reserved for moderation updates Processor Limitation: Limited to Socket 478 CPUs (including the few mobile s478). [07.02.06] Adapters allowed. Limit is only on the processor package, you can use whatever weird board/adapter/mod you like. [07.02.06]
  4. Start post, like on all division challengers I will try to pin questions and answers and updates here for better overview
  5. Start post, questions and updates will be pinned here 06.02. Use of different cpus (eg 4790k stage 2, 4930K stage 3 and so on) is allowed as long as all match the i7 criteria and the listed hardware at rules
  6. Rules update SPD tab not mandatory We removed the SPD tab requirement, Pieter also made the rules more clear, it is better to keep things simple, reason for this is that AFR are retail now and we have no chance anyway to distiguish between retail purchased memory and samples on most vendors. Rules have been clarified now, if you find anything that is still not clear for you, let me know and feel free to ask.
  7. I proposed this and voted in favour, we will see. Up to date, 31st of january is still valid up to further notice
  8. Your result will be divided by native core of your cpu (8), so it does not help to disable cores, it would still be divided by eight cores that cpu has. You can use original 2 core cpu, this might give you better result
  9. Please read the market place rules, you need pciture of the item with your nick, price, location etc, and it is no good idea to sell items for someone else because the person does not have access to marketplace because membership time is too short^^
  10. Ok, got an important clarification/change for the rules: Enthusiasts, Rookies and Novice members are allowed to participate at Extreme showdown under these premises 1. They have not participated in stage 1 or 2 of Asus Formula series 2. They are of course limited to ambient cooling solutions 3. As seen at #1, if you participate in extreme series stage 3 you are not eligible to participate in round 3 of upcoming Formula series if this starts If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask, we got this clarification today, so if you have participated in Formula 1 or 2 you can´t participate at extreme showdown, if you plan to join stage 3 of Formula series, think twice if you enter extreme series, you will not be eligible anymore
  11. Thanks, I think win7 is eol for some benches now. I use air cooling, old megahalems with single 1500 rpm fan, it is getting quite hot, so upgrade no go, it is maxed out at acceptable voltage. It was a lot of fun for sure with these smaller chips
  12. I made a first check to give people a hint, lots of results removed (on 3d no asus/reference card used, missing mainboard tabs, missing background etc). I did not enforce the rule of SPD tab needed, will have to talk to Pieter if we make rules more clear on this or skip it, normally it was thought to be mandatory for all subs, but now is only listed at 01. Will keep you updated, so please check this thread regularly
