Doug2507 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 (edited) So, anyone had a good play about with sammy e die on this and compared to mfr? Been away with work for a bit and will need to decide if it's worth keeping a quad set of e die at hand for x99. And what would be the concensus on running 1.9 vdimm on x99.....? unityofsaints Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) Reviving an old topic and switching from to B-die. Here's a 32M run on SS, far from maxed but gives you an idea that the Haswell-E IMC really isn't that bad: 1M passed 1800, pretty sure 32M would get there too. I don't even remember if maxmem was set as it's an old run. Edited May 22, 2019 by unityofsaints 2 Quote
Bullant Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) Nice, all these old results were mfr Hynix mate....not great memory and needed them cold to get them moving, would of loved to try this platform with b-die back in the day. The mfr Hynix did do better on cold on z170 tho, still no match for b-die Edited May 22, 2019 by Bullant 2 Quote

Not sure if you're still interested after all these years but here's a LCC run on E-die: https://hwbot.org/submission/2691736_dinos22_superpi___32m_core_i7_5960x_5min_55sec_922ms Quote
