July 5, 20187 yr Author if u are not doing direct die I doubt its needed. On the above cpu it was needed as contact with both pot and wb was really bad

July 12, 20187 yr Author I honestly didn't. Only used for 3D (vantage, 11, ts etc) where it does 5.5 quite easy
