P5ych0 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) TurboV freezes with every Bios whenn disabeling cores, you can only change some voltages except VDIMM. Multipliers wont apply. Keep in Mind, you need to use EZ Flash to update Ucode Bios also supports XP and Win7 Edited November 1, 2021 by P5ych0 1 1 Quote

sdmf74 Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 (edited) "Due to the above, the VID for cache is so much higher than it's core counterpart that often the Cache VID would exceed core's and induce more down-binning since Cache would regulate its frequency to not exceed core's VID requirement" --------------------------------------------------------- Is this why im seeing 1.634vcore in the max voltage column in HWinfo64 when I run an AIDA64 memory/cache or just memory stability test (bios vcore set to 1.50v) Ive been trying to figure out & solve this overvoltage issue since Z590/11900K was released to no avail. I enabled/disabled RDB, I set my cache to 40x instead of 45x, and a million other things but no matter what im always getting momentary voltage overshoot of 134mv or more!!! Rimmer Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Hello. I have question. I have 10700k and RAM 4400Mhz CL19 patriot viper. on z 490 apex i need 1.2V LLC 5 for 5Ghz and VCCIO 1.21V and SA 1.23V and i didnt notice any instability and ram errors. but on Z590 Apex i need 1.440V LLC 6 for 5Ghz and 1.27V IO and 1.33V SA. when i run memtest z490 looks ok but on z590 insta errors. How can be so much difference on this platform using same CPU and RAM? and i notice VCCSA is weird i set 1.33V and HWinfo and board measuring point shows 1.29V but on default 1v is accurate on hwinfo and board points. is it BUG or board problem. i change z490 for z590 because pcie slot spacing. On z590 i can put 3-slot Gpu and have 1 slot space for air Quote

I hav eused the acpi file in the first post (from OGS) but it doesn't work ? Hi, How did you fix the 0X0000007B error? I am trying to install Widows XP and get the error, even after replacing the files and trying lot's of things. Steps for what I did to make a bootable Install disk for Windows XP: I downloaded the 590 ACPI Files (winxp_acpi.zip) and unpacked them. I used cabpck14 to make ACPI.SY_, ACPIEC.SY_ and IASTOR.SY_. Settings used: Edit: I used proper names, without.cab for this example. I unpacked my Windows XP install CD. I copied driver.cab from the I386 directory and unpacked it. I replaced ACPI.SY_, ACPIEC.SY_ and IASTOR.SY_ there. I used cabpck14 again to make a proper driver.cab file. I copied my 4 new files to the I386 directory (replacing the old ones). I used NLite to make the new image. Burn and boot the Windows XP CD (from USB Blu-Ray player). Hardware used: 11900K Z590 Apex (I tested BIOS 0070 and 1202 used from this thread). MaddMutt Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 BIOS 1701 will let you install win 7 ? I’ve snagged a 11900k (SP 50) for my XIII Apex and I’m now looking to bench some GPU’s. I grabbed a 8800 GTX and did some runs with nice results so I grabbed a second 8800 GTX for SLI. When the MB started I had to use the 2nd card for the display and when Windows 8.1/10 started ONLY the 2nd card worked. I have not grabbed my other GPU’s to test if this is a problem with just the 8800 Series or all older GPU’s. I have several 8800 xxx to GTX 2xx series that I hoped to bench on this board in SLI. I just got a 10900k (SP 63) and installed it just to see if it was the 11900k that was the problem BUT both will not enable 2x 8800 GTX’s. I also set the PCI switch to Gen 1 for better compatibility But it still did not help ? Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a work around? Thank You For Your Time Quote
