I report the results of >> yamahar1

On the video, CPU after pressing OC GENIE is 210x18 = 3780Mhz.

And once in windows is clearly visible on the CPU-Z 217x18 = 3914mhz

Man entered during loading of windows used BCLK buttons on the board.

This should be a violation of the rules.

Hm.

In the CPU-Z video I clearly see 218x18 boot

Do not look post screen, OCgenie where is blck option buttons work, so after pressing the button, people can immediately press the + (plus) and overclocking the CPU Dock reach the post screen

I say it is impossible for the same processor and motherboard, then pressing the OC Genie are overclocking differently.

On my Xpower board, the BCLK buttons were disabled with OC Genie I think. Are you sure pressing the BCLK buttons before POST screen will increase value?

There are quite some differences between the two setups, by the way. Different BIOS, different memory divider.

The member oc genie is out of rules because he use utilities (control center by MSI). if use 875k the bios unlock selection super unlock technology. and lock the multiplier 25 and bclk 155. the member with control center upgrade bclk 155=>178. and restart the system. after we can't see the yellow worlds oc genie. Thank you!!!

Sooooo, both of you guys have not a valid video

First:

yamahar1's video is wrong, why ? No Clear CMOS

Explanation:

0:21 we clearly see that the ''OS Speed'' and ''CPU Speed'' is 219x18

He hasn't cleared the CMOS, then he saved settings reboot and push the OC Genie Button after.

Ok there is the OC Genie Logo but I don't think it worked on that way because ''OS Speed'' and ''CPU Speed'' are again both 219x18 @ 0:42

Now Regarding OcGenie's video:

He hasn't cleared the CMOS too

1:39 => we have ''CPU Speed'' 178x22 and ''OS Speed'' 178x25 WTF ?

Anyway, you guys have to Clear the CMOS before pushing the OC Genie Button and have to clearly show it on the video

like here:

It's not that hard to do it step by step.

Clear CMOS => start the board => disable Logo => push OC Genie Button => press F10 and Enter...... Do not forgot to change IDE/AHCI for your Hard Drive

EDIT: Instead of Clear CMOS, you can also ''Load Default settings'' or ''Optimised Settings'' on the BIOS as far as I know, and then follow the steps ;)

Looking into this issue with MSI at the moment.

One thing is very clear: OC Genie must be setting the overclock, not the user. So, it's not ok to press it during post and just have the message (OC Genie didn't set the overclock) or already press the button and then do manual OC afterwards.

Yamahar1's result is not valid: manual OC is not allowed and OC Genie did not set the overclock.

http://hwbot.org/community/submission/2155833_yamahar1_superpi_32m_core_i7_860_9min_37sec_140ms

In these two submissions we don't see OC Genie button being pressed -> OC Genie doesn't set overclock.

OC Genie did not set the overclocked settings, so you set them manually (which is against the rules).

The have OC Genie overclock your system, you must:

- shut down your system

- press OC Genie

- power up system

Pressing OC Genie button after boot does not activate it.
