SoF Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 After having seen it here is my TOP5 "must-have" list for Bulldozer: 1. a suitable AMD motherboard with NEW bios (really, really new bios!) 2. a suitable bulldozer cpu 3. good ram (I mean GOOD ram, no seriously f(l)ucking DAMN GOOD ram... ) 4. new hdd with fresh os (c'mon we are just having sandy-systems right now ) 5. and most important: Quote
Massman Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 How much "courage" do we need when running the chips? Quote
SoF Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 They seem to do fine - though you need to have some balls as they scale even with high vcore... LN2 fullpot? Yes, we can! Quote

Crew Turrican Posted October 4, 2011 Crew Posted October 4, 2011 A grey van !! Wtf is that ? A nuclear powerplant ? i think unrockstar's 5 stage cascade Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted October 4, 2011 Crew Posted October 4, 2011 I was very scared when they fired it up for the first time... But an impresive last year build from the guy with the electrical hair... Quote
SoF Posted October 4, 2011 Author Posted October 4, 2011 Wtf is that ?A nuclear powerplant ? Something better than LN2 - but you'll need to have electricity flatrate or something like that for it Quote
Luebke Posted October 5, 2011 Posted October 5, 2011 hey, the cistern from the pic on post #1 might be a good idea for my next case a little bit bulky, but ideal for a silent oc-system because no fans needed Quote
Teemto Posted October 6, 2011 Posted October 6, 2011 i think unrockstar's 5 stage cascade Hmm I'll have to ask Jort to add a couple of additional stages to my new cascade after seeing that. I wonder what the startup current is for that behemoth. Quote
SoF Posted October 6, 2011 Author Posted October 6, 2011 enough to shut down an entire event of overclockers designed for 50 places @ 2000W and lots ampz Everybody had to stop benching while starting that b1tch -.- Quote

Added a little emphasis there too. Did he finally get that 5-stager completely operable without issues? I read his thread and it's just insane how much work and knowledge (oh, and money!) went into that beast. It's an epic cooler; one for the ages. I think I saw him spitting out liquid LN2 with the fourth stage. or something to that effect. Bet it was fun to play with. Quote
