if that is the latest,then yes.

 

this is not that big deal. just use the latest, if it is for everyday use then that is the best. if you plan to do extreme overclocking sessions maybe there is slightly better ones for a single purpose but i think its not the case here.

Does anyone know if Asrock Extreme4 with latest bios 3.00 is ready for Ivy-E?

 

edit - version 3.20 is now latest bios and its officially supporting Ivy-E CPU's.

True, although I'm still doubting it's a good bios cuz it overclocks like bunnies.

 

Anyone got other Ivy-E biosses of other boards?

4306 for the Rampage Extreme board Joost ( you prolly got that one too ) Asked Dino for Gigabyte X79 UD7, but no bios atm available... soon soon hopefully

Guys, when you got this BIOS, you must be warned that it is not for sharing.

 

Overall, this BIOS just for air OC, but for ln2 need something new

It needs something new either way, because with these new biosses it's not even possible to have a normal overclock with SB-E chip too.

5GHz air benchable 3930K doesn't even load windows normally at 4.8GHz now.

Removed the file Vlad... still awaiting my CPU from Intel , they pulled it back to verify something ???

My R4E died during PRO CUP. Need to RMA it So far Xpower II works okay with 4960X on air with official bios from MSI website
