wesjuhdabomb Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 Looks like a dutch webshop is already selling the i5-3570K cpu. It is not a pre-order and they have them on stock (if I can believe their website ). It is only for sale in combination with a motherboard and mem kit, but the fact that they sell it.. Link: https://www.cdromland.nl/productinfo/270125/Intel/Processor_Intel_Core_i5_3570K I bought one, and already received E-mail that it is on its way to me, so I can expect the cpu tomorrow ! Gene Z77 is already waiting! Quote

sin0822 Posted April 12, 2012 Posted April 12, 2012 when is the last time you see 5.8ghz sandy on normal water coolin? Quote
l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 when is the last time you see 5.8ghz sandy on normal water coolin? they do exist. . . http://hwbot.org/submission/2218563_l0ud_sil3nc3_cpu_frequency_core_i7_2600k_5812.34_mhz not quite 5.8 benchable but almost http://hwbot.org/submission/2222107_l0ud_sil3nc3_superpi_32m_core_i7_2600k_5min_48sec_969ms really not the greatest of chips, I found out from it's new owner, any colder than -20c and the x58 multi would not work. OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 my Retail: 4.7GHz at 1.3V (65C) with air cooling ... with BCLK 105 no Cold Bug, (-190) benchable max clock under LN2 - 6.1 GHz Cinebench stable 4C/8T (1.8V) (-150) Ratio 60,61x working ... Quote
l0ud_sil3nc3 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 do you think a ss will suffice for multi testing or will you need more cold? Quote
OBR Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 -40 , -50 is nothing ... when -30 under load, temp of cores were still above zero temp in load ... best benching/stability i have -130, -140C Quote
Massman Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 do you think a ss will suffice for multi testing or will you need more cold? I'm not so confident multi testing will work on Ivy. Quote

Well it was the same with the SB-N launch. At the beginning you only saw 5,4-5,5 ghz CPUs but nowadays you find a lot of 5,7-5,8 ghz CPUs everywhere. Just a matter of time Quote

Guest 0.0 Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 (edited) Looks like a dutch webshop is already selling the i5-3570K cpu. It is not a pre-order and they have them on stock (if I can believe their website ). Found this for the UK, I don't know if it is legit since I don't live there. http://www.technextday.co.uk/products/Intel/Core-i5-3570K-3-40GHz-6MB-LGA-1155-Box?nocat=&prodid=984483 who cares about cpuz? TDP on the box! like here: http://www.hwbot.org/forum/showpost.php?p=166787&postcount=30 Yes, it's wrong somewhere, either the packaging label or the CPU register. I take it cpu-z reads TDP straight from the cpu register? Edited April 13, 2012 by 0.0 Quote
wesjuhdabomb Posted April 13, 2012 Author Posted April 13, 2012 (edited) 95W TDP on box... Edit: Pic of CPU: http://i201.photobucket.com/albums/aa45/wesjuhdabomb/IMG_10461.jpg Revision is 9. Edited April 13, 2012 by wesjuhdabomb Quote
