April 23, 201312 yr Crew i didnt try this, but can you just pull powergood pin to ground, does that have the same effect as cutting the trace?
April 23, 201312 yr Here... we don't did it (reconnect) yet... because there are only one Epower... to 2 cards.... But the way we found , is to get pin 2... find where it "linked" to a little PWM PCB... and... reconnect direclty this point to Pin 2.
April 28, 201312 yr Did you know that there are different PCB revisions out there? mine doesnt have the small extra PCB for the vMEM part. Was not an issue to find the 3,5k resistor but still surprising
April 30, 201312 yr Yo, after grabbing one Titan, wanted to check this small IC; cause many posted it was the hardest mod. So, after some tries I think I figured out that the pin should be the trace marked on the above photo. PS. Haven't tested yet so it isnt 100% sure that it will work Also for those who want to disable Boost technology cause in a test card runs @1180mhz and on an other 1190mhz place bat file into inspector's folder and run it. It will change your clocks as well so after running it please set again the clocks you want. Keep in mind that bat file should be on the same dericetory as nvidiaInspector.exe is An other PS. I chose to .zip it cause could not upload bat files. Enjoy, hope it helps Edited April 30, 201312 yr by FireKillerGR
April 30, 201312 yr some card doesnt like with Vmem mod...have tested 2 card one card really bad with Vmem mod, another Card working perfect without any problem........anyone have same issue with that ? Edited April 30, 201312 yr by Hazzan
May 3, 201312 yr I am looking forward to see some results I believe you have problem with your GND I fear the resistance is too high when they are screwed on
May 3, 201312 yr nice is there anyone who has tried to Desoldering the small PCB where the VRM controller is sitting the graphics card should work when there is Epower on then it is easy to solder it on and solder the coils on and send it to rma
May 3, 201312 yr We had no time to desolder it unfortunately As Phil posted on subs we are out of the city for some days. So soldering of epower should be done quickly (without having to solder something again). We would even try cutting 8 pin but as it is not confirmed yet we tried 2 pin of IC as others We tried card for 2 hours to see that everything was working properly
