Christian Ney
2 Days ago 1.62 Support was dropped (aka you can't validate anymore). 1.63 support should be dropped today if not done already. Please make sure to use 1.64 when benching! Edited May 6, 2013 by Christian Ney
Massman
What about all the OC records with V1.62 and V1.63 ?
Christian Ney
This move doesnt reject them. You just cant validate using an older version than 1.64 from now on.
Massman
But are those old ones legit then? Perhaps we should require CPU-Z V1.64 and up for Haswell validations?
Christian Ney
I have to ask more info, I know that 1.62 is bugged on haswell, not sure about 1.63.
Massman
So no V1.62 Haswell should be accepted at the bot?
Christian Ney
I will confirm that asap.
GENiEBEN
I'd ban Haswii results that do not use at least v1.65 (TBD).
Bobnova
I'd ban Haswii results that do not use at least v1.65 (TBD). That's my thought. Haswell isn't out yet, CPUz support for it on older versions is obviously crap as well.
Christian Ney
CPU-Z 1.64 "should" work fine with Haswell but CPU-Z guys didn't manage to deep test it as they still haven't received Haswell+board from Intel. 1.62 is bugged for sure. 1.63 not sure yet. Teemto
Hi guys, had a small heart attack yesterday. I have a total of 7 Socket A CPU-Z results that I wanted to validate. But as I was using 1.62.2 I can't validate them. I posted a question in this regard on the valid.canardpc forum but no response yet. I sure hope that I can still validate these results (gathered between 29/04 and 3/05). As re-doing them would cost me a lot time and LN2 (not to mention that my LN2 source fell away, so still looking for a new supplier). Christian Ney
Please email them to me at christian [at] HWBOT.org with the name you want to be displayed and the email address you want them attached to if any. I will try to get them validated.

Gamer
1.64 seems bugged, can not open 2 screens without errors. 0x102(258) Win XP Pentium D935.
GENiEBEN
Those damn skinned version still don't display properly for me. No matter what OS (XP/2008R2/7/8), there is always something that makes the titlebar invisible and the alpha channel doesn't seem to work as I can see the pink corners. Can't figure out what triggers this to happen...
Christian Ney
Sigh, useless to send me your valids to get them validated. CPU-Z guys were very clear to me in the email: No more exceptions, sorry. We cannot afford it anymore now. If you want to validate offline (using F7) you will need to validate the files online asap. When a new version of CPU-Z comes out the previous versions support are dropped one week after. Past this week it's too late. Sorry again for the people who sent me their valid files, didn't manage to change his will.

K404
v1.64 + A75: Memory timings are pure fantasy. I set 11-13-13 in BIOS, I get 11-6-5 in CPU-Z
