ChanceCoats123 Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 (edited) Odd... When I click on the M6E thumbs, the imageshack site opens, but the full size picture never loads. Edit: Got it figured out. I'm not used to that host. Edited July 6, 2013 by ChanceCoats123 Quote
Pt1t Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 http://www.cpuid.com/medias/files/softwares/betas/cpu-z_1.65-en.zip that CPUZ 1.65.0 reads correctly Vcore on Asrock z87 :-) Quote
Guest Bullant Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 (edited) Hi,I notice some of you thirds and subs timings are tighter on some boards that reflect the better times on 32M Pi,is this due to the board just settings those timings automatically or is this due to you manually setting these thirds and subs and not all boards can pass with same thirds and subs?.I see you wrote timings are Auto,Thanks for results and really nice job, appreciate you time Bull Edited July 9, 2013 by Bullant Quote
Pt1t Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 All are in auto, so it depends of the board and bios Intel Core i7 4770K was overclocked to 4.5Ghz (fixed) , CPU ring to 4Ghz and memory to 2933Mhz using CL12 XMP profile (memory timing not set manually). Quote
Pt1t Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 Can you put this into a spreadsheet? yep i will do it this week , also with differents bioses by boards. Quote
Crew Vivi Posted July 10, 2013 Crew Posted July 10, 2013 i think the gigabyte board has execute disable bit still enabled hence that time . CRAZY speed on the asrock there daaamn Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 10, 2013 Crew Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) Gigabyte has very loose tertiaries at 2933 and above, especially tRDRD and tRWRW are too loose to be efficient. Need to be dialed in manually for better performance. ASRock corrected this for higher efficiency since bios 1.43a. My Xpower doesn't even boot at 2800 with none of my sticks... lots of work required there for the bios team Edited July 10, 2013 by Leeghoofd Quote
Massman Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 The Gigabyte should be fixed in F5s, I think. Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted July 10, 2013 Crew Posted July 10, 2013 Okay thx for the heads up retesting results Quote
Pt1t Posted July 11, 2013 Author Posted July 11, 2013 yep ... new bioses F5s for gigabyte and Z87OCF151b for asrock Quote
