  1. Thanks guys! :celebration: I'm not aware of a better score impromptu, but I guess/hope the true national record is DDR3-3000+ and just didn't make it to Hwbot. For those who are interested in Ivy-Bridge-CPUs with a decent IMC here are the CPU details: Intel Core i5-3570K (retail) SR0PM 3.40GHZ COSTA RICA 3220C344 PCB code: 1637 But please note the OC potential regarding the core frequency is rather low (@ air), so I don't recommend anything here.
  2. Everyone who buys a der8auer LN2 container gets one for free. What about that, Roman?
  3. English please, this is no local forum or private chat. Thanks in advance!
  4. RMA request by Christian Ney?
  5. Congratulations! This is not only the highest frequency achieved with a Vishera CPU yet, but also the 3nd best CPU-Z validation ever! Validation link misses "1" at the end, so for the lazy guys - this is the right one: http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2588391
  6. Just a great score, I am glad I was there when it was achieved. :ws: Mission Forty-two was successful. PC Games Hardware published a summary about the ROG camp, so if you're interested how it looked like when Andre achieved this impressing result have a look at the German original version or the English version (Google translator).
  7. If that's the case here an uploader should attach a pic of the IHS and/or any other (additional) proof in advance.
  8. 1) Bug: CPU-Z world records on the right side are bugged - see the attachement. Real #2 is #1 and vice versa. 2) Feature request (already posted in the old thread): If we have a CPU category with 8 cores and dual-socket-ability - wouldn't it be a good idea to set 16 cores as default setting when you choose to have a look at the results achieved with a dual-socket-mainboard? Have a look at the Xeon E5-2687W for example: http://hwbot.org/hardware/processor/xeon_e5_2687w/ You have to choose "Dual socket" first (which is fine) to see the benchmark overview. If you decide to watch the Wprime rankings the setting "Number of cores" has the value 8 - that would be useful if you would have chosen the "Single socket" option, but not if you're already at the "Dual socket" section. I suggest to adjust the "Number of core" setting according the chosen amount of sockets multiplied with the number of cores the CPU is specified for in general. Example: 2-core-CPU + "single-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 2 2-core-CPU + "dual-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 4 2-core-CPU + "quad-socket" --> Default setting for "Number of cores" = 8
  9. It's 5.7 cm. I had the board in my hand within seconds, but finding the measuring tape was the real task.
  10. Wow, almost 5.5 GHz air-cooled with 8c/8t ... What air-cooler did you use? How about the ambient temperature - open-window-tweak enabled?
  11. I didn't get an answer two months ago when I asked the same, so good luck for you. I can't tell from my own experience if the SR-X beats the Z9PE-D8 WS BCLK-wise, but I haven't seen a Z9PE-D8 WS setup doing 105 MHz or more yet. 104 MHz seems to be the limit for most users, so I would like to know as well if higher values are possible with the Asus board. btw I have to be a fool to believe in transparency being beneficial for the community and try to include additional information like the mainboard I used on the screenshots and fill out the result details but I will continue this way.
  12. Using the same system, validation name, result details and choosing 2 x CPUs each time, it's really hard to spot.
  13. What an evil CPU ... Congratulations on this one and your 32M, too!
  14. Washing is weird enough, but did you know that licking the PCB can leave a bad taste in your mouth? http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Grafikkarten-Hardware-97980/Specials/Die-3D-Beschleuniger-der-Community-Jetzt-mit-flammenumhuellten-Grafikkarten-sowie-extrem-seltenen-3dfx-Rampage-und-Daytona-676181/galerie/1987313/#?a_id=676181&g_id=-1&i_id=1972565
  15. Uh, 106.3 MHz BCLK. Congratulations on the new 16x core 1024M record! Maybe you would like to answer two questions for us: Wich mainboard did you use for this result? Did you raise the BLCK in the OS?
  16. ROFL, you should have seen my WTF-face when I read the thread title previously. I mean it's not like the false 0s 0ms 1M times or cheap fakes from new registered users that appear sometimes, but a well-known Hwbot user with a stable uber-killer-frequency (which still is an understatement ). So I was like "No way, that's impossible! Hm, but maybe, just maybe somehow with weird rocket science I've never heard of ..."
  17. Yes, but I was used to have a black background. Orange on different sorts of blue hurts in my eyes. Should I try to RMA my signature? Maybe you can give me some pro tips.
  18. Actually I discovered the same some time before Christian opened this thread, but I was sure it's just a temporary problem. I mean who (except Christian Ney ) records every downtime he discovers on various websites? (I would rather like to know why my hwbot signature looks weird once again, although I didn't change anything.)
  19. Using 10-12-10 for Patriot RAM which is rated for 9-9-9 at this frequency is for sure bad-ass.
  20. For air-cooling this is an outstanding result. Congratulations! It would be great to see this stick overclocked with subzero cooling. @BeepBeep2: Some for sure, but not all. The GTX2 I had could run 32M at higher frequencies, in triple channel mode and with tighter tRAS at <1.8 V (quicktest results here) and I think a lot of my Hyper sticks can do about the same (or even better given the short time I pushed the GTX2). I should finally test that someday.
  21. Loophole-finders could trade benchmarks results without money/real value involved ("You get my Super-Pi-screen in exchange for your Vantage-result.").
  22. So Kingston decided to call their HyperX-modules "Overclocker's dream memory" after we had the funny Adolf-discussion?
