  1. This is no bug, except that the stupid online submission thingy didn't realize it was a dual socket configuration But! There is a bug when I try to edit it to 2x CPU, because there is no screenshot I can't confirm the changes. It should be possible for me to do that... Disable the screenshot check for editing, please:)
  2. Better to keep everything in one thread, no? The "bugs" thread is nice to have, but when there is a fresh topic here, why not use it?
  3. If you press "enter" in the search field you get a nullpointer exception. No easy way to find separate DDR ranks in maxxmem. A quick link to the complete HW list would be nice (maybe in the same list you get when you press the search button and get a few more options on the front page). A checked submission shouldn't be open for reporting, only moderators should get access to those options.
  4. Screws and springs always work, if they have the right dimensions
  5. He submitted what the example screenshot asked for:D
  6. I guess it should be blocked, but what's the explanation? I don't want to write that one
  7. From my point of view, there are two options - no boints at all, or keep the current system ("as it is"). However, the difference is very small, both are really close to 50%, so no changes should be made. "IRL" you usually need 2/3 in a poll like this to be sure the change is for the better. (imagine if you have a poll that's for/against something, 51% for one week, and 49% next - then one week after the change you have to undo it, and so on).
  8. Get a stick of D9GTR and give it 2.3v or something like that. That should help:D
  9. Better not to add than to add the wrong benchmark Something decent will show up one day, that's always the case.
  10. So the highest score is always the final score? Tbh I have no idea - it doesn't say anything about that part anywhere.
  11. The enthusiast league is for ambient cooled rigs, right? That should be the only factor that matters. It's not a low-budget league, it's a league for people who don't go subzero.
  12. Well, WR boints are awarded all the way down to 10th place or something like that. He's probably not the only one who lost boints because of this. He's just the first one to complain about it. It's not like this case is extreme in any way, so definately not a special case. Define "compete". This guy is just one of many enthusiasts. Say he pulls ahead like mad, I'd say fighting for 2nd is still rather good. Even in this league you need cash to reach the top spots, but less than the other leagues (+ you don't need to be a coolng expert). I see it from this angle: Sponsored overclockers in the pro league get WR boints when running prebinned and free (sponsored) hardware. An enthusiast who buys all his own parts don't get them when he beats the big bucks. Ridiculous!
  13. I got a few nasty burns in my hand when carrying a 50L dewar a few months ago didn't take any pictures, but i'm sure i can do it again:D
  14. Thanks! Very useful:) How many CPUs and GPUs are there in the database?
  15. That heaven screenshot reminds me of nature in 01, with LOD 15. I call that ridiculous too. Butterflies that look like post-it notes, trees that are supposed to have leaves are completely naked - etc. By allowing tesselation adjustment we're making the benchmark easier to moderate, anything that can be adjusted slightly will cause problems when people push the limits.
  16. Didn't mention number of cores - and it turns out some of these are tricores only. I only got 2.5 and 2.6ghz quads, but one of each as a tricore only too - the 2.7 and 2.8ghz ones are all tricores. That means the following list of "model numbers": 415BE, 420BE, 425BE, 430BE, 615BE and 620BE.
  17. But there is a difference - they're hexacores at stock, you don't get to post in "new" rankings by disabling a core, you need to unlock If the 2c4t Westmere could be unlocked, then yes:D
  18. Ticket ID: 1391 Priority: Low Turns out my Propus core engineering samples have unlocked multiplier. Again, what do I do? \r\n\r\nI got chips at 2.5, 2.6, 2.7 and 2.8ghz stock. The corresponding model numbers would be 615BE, 620BE, 625BE and 630BE I suppose. 625 and 615 are not listed anywhere, but I think the 620 and 630 models are options for two of these, if you ignore the multiplier.
  19. Ticket ID: 1390 Priority: Low Got a Phenom \"915 BE\" engineering sample a couple of days ago. It\'s got markings that identify the stock speed as 2.6ghz, and that\'s the default frequency when I boot it up. However, unlike the 910\'s, this one is unlocked and also work in ddr3 boards.\r\n\r\nDon\'t know if you feel I\'m abusing the system, but being a 2.6 ghz chip, it\'s far from a 955be. Neither is it like my 945be ES, which has no markings except ES on it (that one clocks like shit too ).\r\n\r\nI can send you a picture of this one if you like - just not sure where to post scores if you don\'t want to add it to the database. 910 category is an option - but on LN2 and unlocked...? Hmm.
