  1. Ticket ID: 1081 Priority: Low http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1444724\r\n\r\nI don\'t know what\'s the difference between this one an the 875k, but I assume there are a few since they made them both Says 870x on the IHS as well
  2. Let's add them to the database
  3. You submit it as a 550, but you must select the number of active cores (if it's fully unlocked, then you choose 4 cores)
  4. Yes, but if he can rename empty ones instead of deleting them, it's less work for massman - and probably turrican himself too:D
  5. If you need to rename some empty categories, you can always add some opterons I know that some of the 940 8xx series are missing, for example the 854. I've also got an i7 870x here... Will post some links soon.
  6. I thought it was the opposite, if you have a score (with retail HW), and choose not to receive boints for it, then it blocks the boints as well - as it's still better than the best score that receives boints. ...still, this particular situation is wrong and needs to be corrected.
  7. http://hwbot.org/hardware/videocard/geforce_9600_gt - save white screen here.
  8. If they're not, repost the result. Sometimes the bug kicks in:(
  9. Option 3 is quite hard to explain, and I got it wrong when I voted:D Unless I got it wrong (again) it's basically Option 5 without HW sharing benefits.
  10. Sounds like we need a test server, even though that could mean that some people will vote for whatever solution that works best for themselves, or their team:D
  11. Well, often you don't handle 5 on your own - you have a slave or two to help you out ...plus I don't really say that the reward for multi-GPU setups is wrong, I say that some of the 2d rankings don't display the effort it takes to take the top spots. Just because you have just one pot doesn't mean it's easy, then you have to control that one pot alot better than you can when pouring into 4 or 5 at the same time. I don't see why balancing things a bit is such a bad idea...
  12. True enough, but there's plenty of skill in running wprime on LN2 on...say 3-core CPUs. I can't argue with you when you say it's more difficult to control 5 pots, but the difference isn't as huge as the difference in boints - if you see what I mean... Perhaps 100 is too much as a WR bonus, but 50 sounds reasonable enough.
  13. You mean one set of boints calculated for the team only, and one for the personal profile? To me 5 just sounds easier, and the pros and cons from 3 are still valid.
  14. I voted for option 5, although 3 is also pretty good (it just sounds a bit more complicated, and basically the same as 5 anyway). Option 1 looks nice, but it kills the motivation for alot of guys.
  15. I thougt I read something in that direction, but if I was wrong, I apologize. @ new discussion: I guess the essence is that the best entry will count the most, the others will count less, but still something.
  16. What I don't fully understand is why alot of people will quit benching just because of one thread (although posted on several forums). The discussion is about PURE, HOT (to some degree) and BZ, if some other guy who isn't directly involved loses his motivation over this, then I'm pretty sure that that person wouldn't be doing this for several more years anyway. If you're hardcore enough these things don't matter.
  17. I think that's a reasonable suggestion. You'd have to cheat too much to really make an impact on the team boints, and if you're caught... you lose all your boints for whatever time period you're banned. Risk loosing 1000 boints to gain 10? Silly:D
  18. Something like that last suggestion looks nice, then maybe HW sharing would mean little gain, but lots of pain (if caught), which would prevent most sharers from breaking the rules. Also, "noobs" will feelthey contribute at least something to the team total
  19. The idea is that you can share the parts that don't make the score, which in most cases means CPU for 2D and GPU for 3D. I think that's fair enough:)
  20. It's possible to be a bit more harsh when we ask for proof of not sharing HW, like if you sell a card you benched without taking a picture of it in case the result is questioned => your problem, and possible ban. ...I guess most people who share share because they don't want to spend $$$ on a card themselves more than using a better card of the same type to get more boints.
  21. Ticket ID: 1054 Priority: High Can\'t seem to change a 2x score to 3x for the 5000+ Deneb based Athlon x2. THat must be wrong... it can unlock to both 3 and 4 cores.
  22. I kinda agree, it makes little sense that we add boints to 3x/4x GPU configurations to make the records worth more, when for example 3-core wprime records are worth close to nothing.
