  1. I know! That's why I'm still tempted (despite being told I should just save and get a fluke ) also the apparently slow refresh rate of the voltcraft. If I can't get a fluke for a half decent price then I'll definitely end up getting one.
  2. So I've been partially convinced that maybe going higher is worth it, anyone got a spare fluke?
  3. Looks like fun, hope you manage some more next time!
  4. Yeah I think Websmile said it was a mistake and would be changed.
  5. The size of the bars I assume since they don't seem to match the numbers.
  6. Too pricey for me as I can get it new for less I'm afraid! https://www.rapidonline.com/voltcraft-k102-k-type-thermometer-51-5252 As Rule said to me, I'll probably just buy one new, just thought I'd check to see what's available.
  7. Awesome score, looking forward to what else you can get done with that setup!
  8. I'd be interested, but if you're in the US then I think shipping would make it too expensive, what would you be looking for?
  9. It's a pretty cheap thermometer, not sure where I got it from actually. If there was a Kingpingcooling shop in the UK I'd be tempted, but once you add shipping the probes from him are pretty pricey as well
  10. Hi, As above, looking to get some decent probes and a thermometer. The current probes/thermometer I've got seem to tap out at around -172-4ish. Been looking at the Voltcraft k102, anyone got anything? Thanks (I'm based in the UK) Edit: Now maybe tempted by a fluke...
  11. It'll most likely be a bug, you shouldn't edit screenshots.
  12. Haha, so now I need to see if there are any cheap high refresh rate monitors out there!
  13. Didn't know this (never really dabbled much in 3D), crazy this works, is it just 03? (can anyone actually confirm it works)
  14. It depends what you want, picking a newish intel cpu will mean a lot of other people are probably submitting results with them, so you should be able to get help etc with the hardware. In general I'd look at different pieces of hardware on hwbot and see what has a good number of results etc, as this means you'll both be able to potentially earn some half decent points, and hopefully will be able to talk to others who have done similar things.
  15. Have you tried recalculating? Edit: Just checked, it looks like you've submitted a higher score so you're getting points for that instead. You only get points for one submission per benchmark per piece of hardware for that benchmark (the cpu in this instance). Which motherboard you use doesn't matter when it comes to getting points for cpu-z.
  16. Hope you all have a great weekend
  17. Nice read B-die (and DDR4 in general) is still a bit of a mystery so nice reading things like this.
  18. The point websmile was making (I think) was that some benchmarks do not get points. Such as that one. The list here shows which get Hardware points, which get Globals, and which get none at all. http://hwbot.org/benchmarks/
  19. Nice score, I think a lot of people didn't necessarily doubt you got the score, just disappointed you edited the screenshot to cover your mistake Not sure what's going to happen but this is a cracking score none the less!
  20. I guess it stops people cheating to win as they wouldn't be able to enter the next comp?
