  1. The issue isn't with crazy record breaking scores, it's with cheaters who actually think and just bump their score a little to get an extra place or two etc. Especially with the no screenshot required etc
  2. If there's no way of determining a real from a cheated score then I would suggest either removing it as a benchmark or at least removing points from old scores. And since hwbot doesn't want to anger Intel I would imagine the latter would be preferable.
  3. Guess you don't play any sports or anything either based on that kind of thinking?
  4. You have two pretty high end systems, and normally for competitions the idea is to be open to as many people as possible, and few people have the top end stuff, hence why it's aimed at more mid range hardware.
  5. I emailed a little while ago and got a response, got 11.1g tubes instead of the 37g as they didn't have any in stock but yeah should work, maybe ping again
  6. Why hasn't an error code been made for this telling people what's wrong when it's done, or adding text to the sub page stating a http (without s) link is needed explicitly?
  7. I'd be open to paying a yearly fee depending what affect it would have.
  8. I'm sorry to see you go Leeghoofd, wasn't my intention when I made my comments on the rig picture rule My issue with sandbagging is I don't think it makes for an exciting competition for most. The only way to get the best performance out of people is to give them competition. If people think they've already won they might stop, and so only those doing the sandbagging are pushing as hard as they need to win, because the others have no idea. I liked what Alza tried to do, although it seemingly didn't help for quite a few people who still waited until the last day to sub.
  9. Oh don't get me wrong there will always be sore losers! Hope you change your mind and come back
  10. Wasn't directing anything at you personally. Just my general thoughts, no point having a rule if it's not going to actually be enforced Your choice to sub so many scores in so little time Also that comment is silly, if someone breaks a rule they should be reported, doesn't matter if you can beat them or not
  11. On the rig picture front, you either have it as a rule and enforce it properly, or don't have it as a rule at all. Having it as a rule but letting people off just undermines the whole concept.
  12. It might help if you give more details as to how/why you can't install Windows, are you getting a bsod?
