Damn, at least the examples in that thread have red cross on them now. Cheaters suck.

This guy surfaced for 1 or 2 years ago on local swedish forum and claimed he had a 5900 MHz 2600k, right when people where stuck with the first x53 multi cpus. Sure, not impossible, but as we know very, very hard to come by. No benchmarks or anything else at all other than cpu-z validation. Cpu was already sold when I asked to buy it from him. He also posted a result here on hwbot with E8400 @ 6174 MHz... AIR-cooled. Yeah right. http://hwbot.org/submission/2291016_xroo_cpu_frequency_core_2_e8400_(3.0ghz)_6174_mhz Today I saw him posting an old result with his E8400, 6,7 GHz @ 743 fsb. http://valid.canardpc.com/2381309 Well, this last result really pushes the "plausible" to pure bunnyextraction. I don't know the guy and have not asked him about this, but I'm very curious how he cheated CPU-Z. I thought cpu-z was safe with s775? But 743 MHz fsb is quite a lot more than I'm willing to believe... What do you guys make of this?

That 4770k, any good?

Hasfail much? ^ New one here, L316B316 around 1.475 for 32m at 5 GHz, can do 4800 uncore with 1.39 vring. Will try on singlestage. -

Oldscarface - Core i7 4770K @ 7042.4MHz - 1420 marks XTU

Nah I would like to see the 4770k doing XTU at 7 g lol. But 5,6 is strong enough, my 6 GHz 32m chip can barely do XTU @ 5,4 on ln2 -120. -
Very impressive. 2800 6-10-6, who would've thought of that when we stopped at 2133 6-9-6 on sandy bridge? Times are changin Do you bin ram on air at all, what volt do these take for 2400 7-11-7 32m?

Same here, it died with nb 1.55 volt, vcore 1.96 during POST. Probably shouldn't try to boot that high vcore Anyway really fun competition. -

Congrats to all winners, well deserved and overall sick results in this competition. Just thinking of how fragile 6800k seems to be, how many was killed this comp? 1 Here, 1 for infrared, 2 for dfordog.. maybe more? Never killed a cpu before, this is kind of shocking. -

Below 1.35 Vcore/2 VCCIN and max 80-85 full load should be fine. -

Nice chip. Take it easy on ln2, tehse piledriver/richland seem a bit fragile. There's no doubt you have a 8 GHz + chip. -

Every gigabyte fm2 or fm1 regardless of chipset. The rules are pretty clear about that. -
