Ofcourse, you'll never be able to please everybody, the timing can't always be right. But giving notice allows the people who will be able to find the time to prepare and work things around it. I couldn't setup to bench in a days notice if I wasn't planning to bench anyway, just ordering LN2 needs 48h notice.

I dont think everybody could just drop their lives to bench for a 24 hour comp with no notice.

Look, you guys are in the wrong. People had commented on the submissions saying it should and will be disallowed because it was a) with ES hardware and b) didn't fulfill screenshot requirements. The rules were clear, and they were posted in the comments section of the submission well before the end of the comp. You had time to rebench it if you wanted to, it was never going to stand.

I like computers and cold things, the two somehow came together one day.

I've honestly been waiting for something like this to pop up about Mad and John_Lam, this isn't the first time they have submitted really similar results, and even if they aren't sharing or doing anything wrong it would be bad for the community to not raise the right questions, when it would have come up in an instant if we were talking about 2 "regular" oc league benchers.

I was calling around today to try and find some more chips to bin and the Costa's are all gone. Going to have to start taking chances on Malay.

I don't have the same kit and don't want to hijack Maj0r's review in any way, but here's about the highest I can push my Team Xtreem 2400C9 kit with C9 and tight subs. Still a bit slower than PSC/BBSE on air but they do pretty well imo. My best and favourite air kit. Maybe even more in it, that run was just to keep cpu at 4ghz.

I've got a 3770k that will pass 01 @ 6.6 with 1 core, but only 6.4 with 2 cores so I was wondering if anybody has benched 01 with 1 core and was it better or worse for you, and was it by much? I tested at 4ghz and 6.2ghz and saw little to no difference, but that was just with a G210 for a gpu.

Pretty much the same story for every Malay chip I've tested so far. 6.4-6.6 max speed, don't like high voltage. 3D01 @ 6.5+ might be doable here though, that would be nice. I've found I can bench 01 at close to 1m speeds.
