Good idea, newlife! I have experience organizing and advertising overclocking events and competitions, both in person and online. I helped organize all of the OCN N2OC overclocking events, at Microcenters and at Mopar's place in Missouri. All have had an amazing turnout and been great for getting people interested in the hobby/sport. I've been on staff at OCN and semi-staff here at the bot (I'm the guy who moves your FS threads and deletes spam from your user profile). I know you guys are keeping tight tertiaries to yourselves but do you mind sharing some loose ones? I'm having issues pushing anything better than 3200C15 and I'm thinking it may be down to my board setting bad auto values. Since I don't trust the values it sets/shows, I don't have a lot to go off of in BIOS. Mainstream GB board, no profiles or anything. Thanks

Pushing BCLK on X58 requires high PCI-E speeds. SATA uses the PCI-E bus on X58 so the high PCI-E speeds that are required (130+) can corrupt drives. I'm trying to bypass that.

Trying to bypass SATA and only use PCI and USB on X58.

While I agree, if you read through this thread you'll see that it's Microsoft's fault. There are a few benchmarks that can be run in Windows 8 and 10 but those have a secondary authentication to check what Microsoft messed up.
