    I'm looking to get a Live XP install on a USB drive that I can plug in and boot to. I know it'll be a bit slow (and no this isn't for Z170). In googling, I've found that there are tons of methods so I was hoping that someone could share their experience and which method they used. To calarify, I'm not looking to install XP from a USB drive, I'm looking to install XP on a USB drive.

    Seems like almost no board has complete, total worldwide availability yet. Why not rule if available in 2/3 places? So far it seems that all the boards that would be used for this competition are not allowed. AUS doesn't have X board but they do have Y board. The US doesn't have Y board but they do have X board. EUR has access to both X & Y. Seems silly to block both boards at that point... especially when those are the boards specifically designed to have the best memory tweaking.

    These GPU's really love volts, even on water. 1.50V/2.20V and it'll do 940/1300/2400, through '03. Kinda insane.

    I don't think his annoyance is totally misplaced. Where is it officially stated that Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 cannot be used? AFAIK, you have to delve through the forums to find a semi-statement on it (like this thread). A new user may be inclined to check the rules for a benchmark before running, but there's no way they would scrub through the forums looking to see if Windows 10 is banned when, without the proper background, they would never expect it to be. It's just going to serve to upset them when their first sub is removed. When I started benching, I ran everything in Windows 7 because it was my daily system. Once I started getting competitive speeds, I started looking into tweaks and that's when I found out that I needed to investigate Windows XP as well. A new user right now would not get that same option.
