  1. I'm prepping a package including the right AIDA version to use
  2. I guess it would be more fair to everyone to maximize the swap of memory type only to allow higher frequency/efficiency. Motherboard and CPU will stay the same...
  3. Yes you decide from the first stage which platform you will use for all 3 stages... this goes for all participants... For the memory as long as it is Corsair memory you can change, but not from Intel to AMD or X299 to LGA1200, if you change from E-die to B-die it's Corsair related
  4. All participants must use commercially available components and software (Engineering Samples are not allowed).
  5. well my biggest concern is SLI capable on your request list... many support Crossfire but not SLI. I would stick to P35/45 chipset, pop in a Q6600 , OC it and have some retro fun...
  6. Just buy a S775 board and quad core CPU, performant and none of the hassles
  7. It will be back, but not in the upcoming months. Programmers focus at the moment is the new launch of a new benchmark of our main sponsor. The Corsair Compo needs to be properly readied so we can keep them onboard for more. Tim is progressing nicely on the wrapper, which will allow us to get rid of the current horrific algorithms and make the Bot more responsive. Updating the database software is also still on the drawing board and we are eagerly awaiting a new release of BenchMate thus we can merge all them benchmarks... The CSS profile was totally insecure and HWbot got hacked by a "crafted" member, so its not matter of just enabling it again...
  8. Olympic principle peeps, submit in all 3 stages and you are already in for the lucky draw raffle... Yes as long as it is a DDR4 platform sporting Corsair memory sticks you are fine ( no ES hardware/bios ), but you must use the SAME platform in all 3 stages.
  9. I upped it again, new link: Use the offical competition background: https://i.postimg.cc/9FSHX9nq/TC21.jpg
  10. it is always a different CPU required for 2D, same for GPUs in 3D... try it and submit with the same CPU, only the best score will count... you have been here before right? ?
  11. added: GIGABYTE AORUS Gen4 SSD @ HWBOT
  12. And how must one figure out which kit exactly was used, the Taiwan or US version, a mix? Really this reasoning is mind blowing... For Project 2022 we have to introduce a barcode scanner so people must scan their gear before competing... If you had filled in the memory model used you would have discovered only one sub would count.
  13. you can assume but the tile of the compo is DDR4 open OC... don't think it needs any rule or clarification...
  14. They used identical sticks of Corsair dominator GT 2000C8... same platform, same cpu, same pictures, just slightly different timings... and no subs were deleted, just removed from the compo or correctly filled in and than filtered by the API Add CPUZ SPD tab from now...
  15. For Processors you don't use identical CPUs For Graphics cards you don't use identical GPUs For Memory you don't use identical memory sticks The API detects these, but you ofcourse have to fill in the correct memory type as in Dominator GT,...
  16. You are very welcome. Thank the ones that subbed using identical memory kits and didn't fill in the submission correctly... this is another imposed rule thx to rule bending, deliberate or not, just more work for me...
