Don't get me wrong here, this reply is not specifically targeted at Gigabyte. But I fail to understand why a company releases a high end benching motherboard with a to me untested bios. Why not release a stable bench bios and then continue to work on S3 and other stuff that daily users need.

I see no reason to run this program in win7 (unless tri sli) scores are faaaaaaaaaar lower

Tip: if you keep on replying other members in this fashion, I don't think anyone will even reconsider of lifting the ban a bit more early ! So lighten up, you did something wrong before, otherwise there wouldn't have been this penalty. At the moment live with it and come back till it all passed...

It's this kit indeed : Kingston-Hyper-X-Predator-Dual-Channel-8GB-2400C11 Didn't go much over 2600MHz at all, but can be run tighter at 2400MHz

Weird CPU's CN in some way, mine does practically the same (+/- 50MHz diff) However no go at +6700MHz, not even one one core

My board works fine up to 112 HTT clock, then it no longer boots or looses vid signal. Though 2400+ rams is a no go, not even under cold... not ideal to bench Superpi.. and certainly not for the HD7660D... AMD-Trinity-A10-5800K-APU-Review At least the board gave me an excuse not to be able to beat PJ's scores ... Dennis was advised about the shortcomings...
