  1. It's not really a BIOS problem, you might simple not be pushing enough SA (most old/original Haswell chips need 1.25+) or having the ODT issue (solvable by rebooting without entering the BIOS).
  2. Bump, another set of Tridents added.
  3. Z97 OCF and Dominators pending..
  4. Up for sale is some hardware that I don't need. 1. ASRock Z97 OC Formula. This is an OCF that I bought from Radi in December 2015. The board has vaseline all over the PCB so I guess it was used on cold before. As for myself, I only used the board for CPU and RAM binning on air, for which it worked flawless. SOLD. 2. 3x2GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000C8. I bought this kit from Gigelz in Ferbuary 2016 to replace my damaged GTX2. It's a kit of exceptional quality, far better than any similarly-specced kit that I've seen before. The sticks do 1000MHz 6-7-6 at 1.90V in triple with X58 and 1100MHz 7-7-x at 1.76-1.80V individually with the Z97 OCF above. I'm selling them only because I was able to find an even better replacement in form of 2000C7 Dominators. SOLD. 3. 2x8GB G.Skill RipjawsV 3000C14. This kit is a part of my project to find decent B-die among lower G.Skill bins. Is the best clocking 3000C14 amongst multiple tested, can do 1933MHz 12-12-12 at 1.90-1.91V and 2066MHz 13-13-13 at 1.94-1.95V. SOLD. Shipping prices vary on your location and tracking/insurance preferences. For mems it would be between 5 and 15 Euros, for the board between 15 and 30 Euros. My preferred method of payment is IBAN banktransfer, I also accept PayPal if you take care of the possible fees.
  5. Speaking seriously, anyone (myself included) with right connections in the hosting/datacenter industry could easily afford to run the site/forum/database out of his own pocket and keep it vendor/ad-free. However, I imagine that the site's current owners would ask a pretty penny (6-7 figures estimated) just "for the brand" making the takeover financially infeasible for any enthusiastic individual or community.
  6. Daniel is one of the very few people in the world who can bench, drink and smoke for 4 days straight and not give a single fuÑk about it. Respect! (definitely not Dutch roots )
  7. As soon as you start awarding cooling-based points, people will start coming up with 6GHz watercooled XTU Skylakes.
  8. 5000 posts? Is M.Beier on the chat?
  9. Getting ONE cpu to those speeds is not easy, can't even imagine how hard it is with two, let alone on an "unconventional" board.
  10. 2000C7 Dominators and one set of PI are sold.
  11. Up for sale is a bunch of DDR3 memory that I can live without. #1: 2x2GB Corsair Dominator GT 2000C7. Two modules from separate triple kits. Both modules overclock nearly identical, needing ~1.75V for 32M at 1100 7-8-7 tight. SOLD http://abload.de/img/2000c7l2krr.jpg #2a: 2x2GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600C7. One of the earliest/oldest PSC-based kits made by G.Skill. Needs 2T command rate to run dual channel on ASRock, 1T should work fine on other boards. Needs 1.70V for 1200 8-11-7 tight and 1.82V for 1300 8-12-8 semi-tight. Asking 20 Euros + shipping. #2b: 2x2GB G.Skill Ripjaws 1600C7. A sister kit to the kit above. Clocks a bit worse: needs 1.76V for 1200 8-11-8 tight and 1.90V for 1300 8-12-8 semitight. Asking 15 Euros + shipping. Together with Ripjaws above: 30 Euros + shipping. #3a: 2x2GB G.Skill PI 2200C7. An early-2011 kit with black PCB. Needs 1.72V for 1200 8-11-8 tight and 1.94V for 1333 8-12-8 tight. Seems strong on tRCD: 1200 8-10-8 passes 32M with tRDRD5 on aircooling. SOLD http://abload.de/img/2200c7-10qyujv.jpg http://abload.de/img/10_1200c8_172v_tight2ntulx.png http://abload.de/img/10_1333c8_194v_tight2w4uk5.png #3b: 2x2GB G.Skill PI 2200C7. Another early-2011 kit with black PCB. Needs 1.74V for 1200 8-11-7 tight and 1.89V for 1300 8-12-8 tight. Asking 40 Euros + shipping. Shipping costs vary between 5€ and 15€, depending on weight and destination country. IBAN banktransfer is my preferred method of payment, but I also accept Paypal if buyer takes care of the fees.
  12. I got rid of my Q3FEs ages ago.
  13. Sold, please move thread.
  14. Up for sale is a 16GB (4x4GB) quad-kit of 2666C10 TridentX. Part number: F3-2666C10-16GTXD. I tested all four modules individually and these need between 1.98 and 2.02V for 1400 9-12-12 tight. Two modules will do 1466 9-12-12 tight at 2.35V in single, but in dual the furthest I get is 16 loops. Given how well Samsung react to cold air, 1466 9-12-12 should be doable during winter or airconditioning. Asking price is 130 Euros + shipping. I accept IBAN banktransfer and PayPal, but in case of the latter you will have to take care of the fees.
