  1. $2500 is "cheap" compared to $4000 G.Skill have once asked for their kits (2933C12, IIRC). It's funny to see how much epeen value goes into a set that costs probably $150-200 to bin and produce, just to "claim fastest".
  2. congrats on fastest AMD run ever, nice job on the memory too
  3. May be I'm missing something, but to cheat SuperPi or PiFast by any margin, you would have to deliberately use "knowledge" which isn't normally used for overclocking/tweaking and hence deemed illegal ... whereas with CineBench you can be speedhacking on others without even knowing about it.
  4. can all these non-K chips clock mems so well?
  5. and yet it has both hardware and global points enabled?
  6. Isn't this a benchmark security leak? or it doesn't work the other way around?
  7. Team GTPP / HTPP contribution lists (like this one) when you try to go from "0-20" to any other page, it only shows Aquamark submissions.
  8. congrats on the last place in 4960X category
  9. with G.Skill PI, this pot can also get the mems (temp measured at HS bottom) to -140 ish just with gravity, no thermal paste
  10. memory prices will rise, I guess
  11. Dual-sided (8Gb) sticks are faster than single-sided (4Gb) but, because of the density, subtimings like tRFC have to be ridicilously high (250++) meaning these will still be no match for 2Gb/4Gb modules in terms of performance.
  12. Has anyone tested the IMC on chips other than 4670K and 4770K? Which memory multipliers are available and how high does it go?
  13. will this device also work with eVGA's Epower?
  14. 4x2Gb of ultratight Hypers (1100+ 7-7-x) might break 6min30 ... at least that's the only config I know that did sub8min at 4GHz
  15. 2666C11 is actually a hard bin for MFR, especially 8Gb sticks
  16. looks good, but tRTP 11 is a bit loose for a 1.85V benching profile
  17. Having profiles is one thing, but do these actually "work well" if you load them? Samsung 2666 looks kind of weak, by the way
