Thank you guys . I'm trying I remember back in 2001 when this card was new , there was an exhibition here in Athens where you could see it running 3dmark2001 . I was in front of the PC for a few minutes and while the keyboard was free to reach and people weren't looking , i decided to have some fun and change the settings of the benchmark to the high level (resolution , filtering etc) :D:D Welcome to the sluggish world . Hahaha ! -

First of all , congratulations to all teams that managed to enter top 5. It was insane . 7 months of almost benching every day . My respect to Infrared and his team , because they did it with so little manpower . Now , regarding the DX11 PCI benchmark . The 512MB cards have not enough memory to hold the required textures in their memory . If you run the benchmark with the MSI Afterburner OSD enabled and monitoring the GPU memory usage , you'll notice that it needs approx 800MB to run. That's the story about the slow 512MB runs . The PCIE cards with 512MB are a bit faster because of the faster communication with the CPU & IMC . The PCI , though , is much slower and that's the reason why you see so sluggish scores . As for the black screens with the 512MB PCI cards , i believe it's a bug of the wrapper . If you try without the wrapper , they run completely fine ... except the very slow performance . Also , i noticed that the scores are a bit higher in older platforms like X48 & X58 .

100 Euros for both kits . (4 X 2GB ) Don't expect 2666+ clocks . Up to 2580 was tested in Z77 which i currently don't have.

Two days ago we started cleaning all of our results (HWBOX Team) . I believe we didn't miss anything . I started looking for bugged scores from many people and reported many scores (please don't take it personally) . Thanks , and feel free to check and report if you find a missed/bugged score from my team .

You cant run these cards with the Z97x-soc as it doesn't detect the PEX8112 that the VGA has . I have informed Gigabyte about this . These cards work in their Z87 series for example . -
Thanks Pieter .

Tried yesterday some memtest at 2400Mhz . One kit needs 1.77 and the other 1.75v . Timings at 8-12-9-28 . That was on a Z77 board . With the Z97 i currently have , there are issues with PSC

No , it doesnt affect the score . Check the test thread about 2 years ago . There are some examples of physx on & off http://hwbot.org/newsflash/1876_catzilla_beta_goes_public___test_it_now -

I was trying catzilla today . What i noticed is that even if i select physx to be run from cpu (in the nvidia control panel) , after running catzilla the selection was back on the gpu . I got the feeiling that catzilla was changing the value . I tried it many times and it was always the same result . -
Yes , Greece . OLDcomer , I don't have a working X79 to test it right now , but 2400 seems very easy and it should work without issues . I can test them at Z87 & Z97 right now if you want . Memtest & Hyperpi 32M ? What do you think ?

I have two kits of the following modules : Corsair Dominator 2133CL9 CMT4GX3M2A2133C9 . All 4 modules have the same P/N . It's 2133Mhz 9-10-9-24 . Revision is 7.1 which means PSC IC's . I bought them second hand for X79 usage . Tested at 2500+ Mhz 8-12-8-28-1T for spi32m . If i recall they can go higher . Price is 150 Euros for both sets . That's 4X2GB , with their boxes . I accept paypal and bank payment . Beware paypal has additional fees . I can ship worldwide .

Put back the normal Pentium and you will have your question answered . -
Hahaha !! A sad AMD fan .

Ati 2900 only supported up to 2-way CF. You can't run 3-way or 4-way . That's why you can't find any benches .

What's your paypal account ???? :D PS . Great job man ! I have to admit that many of your scores give me troubles ! Thank you Mr.Scott . In my opinion sandbagging causes troubles only when the other team didn't max out their hardware . It's like benching on air/water when you should have benched subzero . Overall this three month competition was an amazing school for all of us . We learned a lot of forgotten things about old hardware & tweaks . Regards , Stelios
