Submission is not an issue . There are ways to bypass it . The question is if it's legit to do such thing ... Or it doesn't matter how you do it ?
-
Yes , there are lot's of things to find. Not much time though ... In audio compression , do you have to change codecs or files ???? This is the feeling i have from reading some posts . I hope i'm wrong .

Congrats to all participants . I didn't have a good CPU to compete for the 1st place . -
Text edit mystery solved ...One million is easy with the cpu a bit higher . http://www.3dmark.com/pcm05/3172233 Now we have to find the audio compression & memory latency "tweaks" ...

How about using some real bullets ??? :D:D I had a friend that when one of his motherboard didn't cooperate , he tied the mobo to a tree and he shot it . That solved his problem !

I can't run spi32m with 4x2gb PSC on any of my Asus ROG Z77 boards Asrock Formula & Gigabyte UD5/UP5 can do it .

I just noticed that there are some competition points missing from my team . Stage 3 : http://www.hwbot.org/search/submissions/permalink?ids=2232967,2231937,2232582,2232542,2232943 No CP points for my score with the i5 680 and for Tiltevros with his E5520's . -

Try with CL7 & TWCL7 ... or CL6 and ΤWCL8 . There is a performance bug when your TWCL = CL + 1 on PSC memories . -
Great news !! Can't wait to meet you again !

UP works way better than UD .

Here are some SPD files ... The gskill2400c10 original is from the single side , but i modded it for dual side . Haven't tried it yet , because my thaiphoon version only works on P67 boards and i have to setup my old P67 ... You can also use the 2400CL11 SPD from the ripjawsz (dual side) . It also have an XMP profile at 2400Mhz None of these SPD's could make my low profile HYK0 boot higher than 2200 Mhz on UD5H board . I could run 2850Mhz with other rams like 2800Mhz kingston . Also no problems with BBSE & PSC at 2550+ Mhz . My HYK0 on maximus z77 gene & formula can run spi32m at 2666Mhz+ with less than 1.7V .

Just tried F9e bios . It feels like it's a bit easier to boot with the 2600 divider and a pair of PI's . All i had to do is to select the following timings : 8-12-8-28 TRFC : 96 ... TRRD 4 ... TWCL 8 ... TFAW 24 ... CMD 1T I also relaxed all the tertiary timings that defaults to 3. Try a value of 5 . Problem is that i still can't run 32m even with 1.85V . Getting to OS with 1.8v is easy . The S4 bios is the worst of all . Can't even boot 2200Mhz with CL8 . CL9 helps , but only for 2200 . At 2400 nothing can make it post .
-
Yes Pieter , you're correct . The error is always "51" . Even with my low profile Samsung i get "51" when trying dividers higher than 2200 .
-
I tried the 2400 g.skill SPD on the Samsung low profile sticks but still can't post higher than 2200 . Also , all my PSC sticks clock about 50 Mhz lower than Asus even with higher voltage. For example ... Asus 2600Mhz 8-12-8 @ 1.83V ... Giga 2550Mhz 8-12-8 @ 1.90V All the available subtimings are the same . Bios & memtweakit

Here are some pictures of the Epower preparation ... I had to scratch the PCB in several places in order to have more area for soldering. First step is to scratch the choke pads . In this way i managed to triple the usable area and solder double wires instead of singles that i had during the first part of the MOA EMEA. You can see it here : You can also see the soldering i have done for the ground cables . Certainly not enough . I was using some SMD capacitors . It was obvious i had to scratch to find more area for grounding . So i did this ! Finally , i put a lot of solder on the new ground area ... I soldered many ground cables there . I don't have any pictures of the finished zombie , but i'll take some during the next days and i'll upload it here . Thank you all ! It was amazing to play with such a fast zombie card . You know how much i like this ! -
Congrats for all the participants . It was a very hard competition . We were desperate around 2 hours before the end, as we didn't have any 3d scores . All the scores were made during the last 1.5 hour . We had many issues with the board and the lightning . Our zombie has more to give . I already done 1700+ . That's the reason we uploaded wrong photo in the 3dm03 score . We did it during the last minutes and accidentally we put the wrong photo . I couldn't edit the score after 23:00 ... I just noticed something ...What's wrong with the points ??? For our scores its : 5th place 3dmark11 : 33.6 points 2nd place 3dmark03 : 18 points 33d place superpi32m : 9.6 points Sum : 61.2 points . Rounded at ??? Must be 61 , not 60 . For Smoke : 31.2 + 9 + 15 = 55.2 . Rounded at 55 For XtremeAddict : 60 + 8 + 5.4 = 73.4 . Rounded at 73 For Ryba : 38.4 + 13 + 9 = 60.4 . Rounded at 60 For Tolsty : 43.2 + 25 + 4.8 = 73 ... not 72 . Even if you make the rounding at every bench ... our points are : 34 + 18 + 10 = 62 . Can someone tell me what am i doing wrong ??? :D:D

Well ... I'm happy so far . Hoping for 6.7+ on full pot ... -
I was talking with DMS yesterday and he couldnt understand what's wrong . So , i guess now i know what happened ... It seems the issue is the resolution . It's 1280x768 , when the correct would be 1280x1024 . That thing could explain the boost in the subtests. You should know that it wasn't his intention to post a bugged/cheated score . He didn't know what was wrong . I'll block the score .
-
Regarding the ES cpu's , there are many people in the OC league with 3770K ES . This should't happen accoring to the rules . Can you please check it ?

Congrats to the winners !!!
