If you take it down to core level , yes each 5970 core is slower than one 5870 core . But overall 5970 is faster than 5870 . That's why i changed it to 5970 .

Changed the submission to 2x5970 ... It's one 5970 and one 5870 , so score goes to faster GPU which is the 5970 . As there are two cards , i selected 2x5970 . I don't think it's right to select 3x5970 , as this would move score to 4x gpu category (which is not happening here) .

It's PSC . I was testing the card on air and didn't notice the RAM timings at all . I should have set 8-11-8-28

Thank you all for your comments . It was a very hard and stressful month full of benching without much sleep . Congrats to all the teams that participated this year ! My favourite stage was the vantage one ! Best stage ever ! Zombies all over the place ! Nvidia all the way for me !!! We had two 9800gtx that could run 1150Mhz . Also a backup card with 1050Mhz capability . Backup and one 1150Mhz card died ... So no scores to show . Congrats to all participants so far !! Let's get going !!!!!!!!

Well ... it's an option . We managed to find a card early this month from USA . Not benched yet ... but will do .

I remember there is a sli hack that allows different cards to run SLI mode . It's somewhere in techpowerup ... You can try it . Nothing to lose .

I saw similar results with this driver (173.67) as it was released only for 9800gx2 . For every other card you have to you a modded inf file . Using modified inf , some times gives such results

OK . Now i got it . AM2+ is 920/940 and the AM3 models are 925/945 etc . So , we also need a DDR2 board . There is no AM2+ cpu to play on a DDR3 board . Right ??

Thanks . So , X4 940BE is also reported wrong at AM2+ category i guess ??? Right ? Which cpu is considered as : Deneb with DDR2 controller only ???? I googled and i found that deneb supports both ddr2 & ddr3 . Damn AMD ...

Regarding the AMD CPU's ... Last week we checked the superpi scores through the search tab and by selecting the socket we decided to use one 965 BE & one 555 BE . They still show at different categories . 555 is am2+ and 965 am3 . But it seems it was wrong and we lost one score . So ... Is the database correct ????? I don't know about AMD cpu's and there is no time to lose ...

Well done boys ! It was about time to start benching pcm05 again . What about the scores with high general usage & virus scan ???? What are the lmits ??? You can't expect to get 1800 virus scan with 2 SSD's for example ... or 800+ general usage with a crappy raid controller that doesn't use cache memory .
