  1. The only thing I achived was to kill one of my best PI sticks. I have 2 kits and one of them was clearly better. The second one was unstable at tRCD 9 even with 2.15V and in fact didn't scale past that voltage. First one did it easily at below 2.1V. Looking back at scores, I actually had some chance if I had more LN2 and Samsung memory. I thought more people would participate. Sure I could do better with 32M stage too. Good luck to everyone in the finals. Maybe I would qualify some other time .
  2. Yeah, I forgot that this is 1M. I've done 295 - 300 (due to CPU freq max), but I guess 311 would be possible, too.
  3. Not sure how strong is the glue, I'm afraid of ripping off some of the ICs. That's my main concern.
  4. Awesome. I would be happy if can get it down to .22 Can you tell me an easy way to get the heatsinks off? One of my best PI sticks is already dead and I think it would be better to get the heatsinks on the other kit off, but afraid I may damage some of the ICs while doing so and then will be left with no good memory.
  5. I always use a hot gun immediately after the session and I'd recommend it to you as well. Not only for the board, but for the mems too. Last time I benched several hours with cpu and psc (1333 5-9-6) on LN2 and half of the board froze, including the heatsink for the vrms, even though I always have fans that blow away the cold vapor. Good insulation around mem slots is critical if you want to not worry about moisture and bench several hours. Otherwise you'd need to stop very early. Watch out for water drops under the heatsinks, just where the vrms are, if the heatsinks were frozen. If you don't remove the heatsinks, make sure to heat them up to the point it is very hot to the touch, so any water drops left would vapor. It is also important to heat up memory slots.
  6. Isn't there a separation in the database between 0.0pts (not the best result from the user with that hardware) and points disabled by the user? Because we still don't want to lose subs with disabled points, while we certainly don't want more than one result from a user with same cpu. For example, if there's a competition and I upload 5-6 scores with my best XP-M, they all will go into the chart and that same cpu will occupy first 6 places In my particular case, these XP-M 2500+ results are made with 2 or more different cpus, but they are still the same model, so only best should count.
  7. Maybe filter subs which does not bring hw points, so there won't be entries with the same cpu model from the same user, but with different score. Better take just the best entry with a given cpu. For example there are 3 of my subs with XP-M 2500+ in 32M chart, but only best one brings me points, others should not be displayed . On a side note, I should really bench all my s.A cpus in the box I have...too little overall hw points
  8. Wait, where did that link to the screenshot showing 4770K is ES go? It's showing ES on all your subs with 4770K. I don't want to be an asshole, but we all are required to respect the rules. Just thought it is strange the link accidentally disappeared from the first post.
  9. If I understand correctly what you're saying, then answers are in line with your question. In fact everyone is allowed to get points with current-gen ES, because if you have samples, then you're not an ordinary bencher and belong to Elite. So I don't see where the problem is Current-gen ES are not allowed in normal competitions, so it is perfectly fine by me. If you still managed to somehow get a current-gen ES CPU, but don't want to move to Elite, why would you insist on getting points for that CPU? If your point is that ES are clearly better and no retail can beat 'em, then think about who will be on top if ES hardware was not allowed. Don't you think same guys will be on top no matter ES or retail? In other words: I don't care Have many other more important thing in real life to worry about. HWBOT for me is mostly for fun and some competition element.
  10. These APUs can be damaged with "excessive" VDIMM. Not sure about newer FM2+ stuff (got rid of all APUs before it was released), but I remember The Stilt talking about something like 1.75V max for everyday use. Can't recall exact voltage though, sorry. Personally I've used up to 1.85V with Samsung chips and APU on LN2.
  11. I think best MNH are a little better than best MGH, however not sure if any of those best MNH are still alive I actually don't have many MNH and I jumped late in the game when MNH were already replaced with the fixed version (MGH), so I can't be very objective here. I still have some Kingstons 2000C8 and OCZ Blade 2000C7 with MNH, but my best hypers are GTX2 and some SuperTalents 2200C8. The higher bin really matters. I've had 1866C8 A-Data XPG+ and these were the worst hypers I've ever owned...
  12. Huh, I have downloaded it for 10 minutes. If you have problems with the download, let me know and I can upload it on my drive. Thanks for the link, loud.
  13. Here you go, Vivi: http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2379/futuremark-3dmark-2013-v1-3-708/ Oops. it's 3.708, not 4.780. So.. I can't find it either. Closest one is 4.778 I can only find it in torrents, but how can be sure there's no virus and it's not altered?
  14. What screen?! Fixed...that's what happens when you upload it at 3:00 in the night.
  15. Great CPU. Best SB I found by myself was 5.5GHz max. Then bought a 5.7 one from a friend, and is still not good - kind of average in the overall SB charts. 22nd in 32M for 2500K, but for other short benches I'm waaaay behind.
  16. Can I play? 6:33.016 - I.nfraR.ed - 2500K @ 5001 MHz - 2x2GB G.Skill Trident BBSE @1111 MHz 7-9-6-20 1T - Asus Maximus V Formula http://hwbot.org/submission/2786876_i.nfrar.ed_superpi___32m_core_i5_2500k_6min_33sec_16ms
  17. That is a fact, but all stages require LGA775 CPU. It is nice, but not for me. I just can't participate in any of the stages. Maybe next time if it is AMD-oriented, but that's after 2 months. The old monthly competitions were more balanced and required various platforms. Yes, it was harder to win the whole competition, but I could at least bench for fun on some of the stages where I had available hardware. Anyway, good luck to the Intel guys
  18. eSports site generally performs bad. A lot of times when I open a subpage/stage, loading json stage data takes about 2+ seconds and during that time the site is not responsive at all. There are also some JS errors about MagnificPopup. It also often does not remember my credentials, although I always select the checkbox. Haven't checked the cookie expiry period, maybe something is wrong with the cookie, since it works for me on every other site (incl. Hwbot), but not eSports.
  19. Hmm, ok. It seems to be allowed I was wrong, sorry.
  20. You have changed default settings. I don't think this should be allowed.
  21. I want your golden 152, let's say 20euro shipped. Deal?
