I agree with SI, start benching straight at full pot is better, even if only 1.6v vcore, less cracking possibilities. Almost all Skylake/Kaby Lake can run fullpot. Even if you do to many go up and down temp hotter than -135C you have possibilities to crack.

Yeah there are chip that hot and scale with cold, and cold chip that dont scale with cold, depend on CPU leakages. We definitely need much better TIM because it seems now high density die with same or more heat

I agree with this, some batch is just not scaling under cold, but it seems you hitting thermal limit. Want solder indium?

Do you try max CPU Clock? If it good maybe your CPU is very hot, need higher thermal conductivity TIM to make it pass under load. Try change TIM again then heat up the pot to 70 Celcius, but dont start the system! (It may cause dead CPU). Then try again under cold. Heating the pot make it harder to crack the TIM under heavy CPU load in my experience. And dont forget start benching on -135 Celcius or Colder. I hope it fixed your problem.

Some CPU scale poorly under cold, but before that did you check CB R15 core temp load at 6-6.2GHz? Maybe hit positive and can you run fullpot? For me always start doing heavy benchmark on Skylake (i know its different) at -135 Celcius to reduces cracking TIM possibilities, cracking possibilities higher on -100 to -135 Celcius.

VTT is default at half of VDIMM, VTT only affecting memory stability (B Die might be need specific VTT for Ultimate Stability, every kit is different!), for more uncore you need more vcore or colder temp.

Hey all, did you try what voltage to pass 32m 5g/5g 2c/2t? Mine before delid need 1.425v to pass it, after delid it dropped down very big, so far 1.36v working very good, did'nt try lower yet.

3DMark Vantage is very CPU bound, if you compare with like 6950X, you had no chance.

With new BIOS (3201) its possible to do 32M 4K C12 1T Waza and booting from it : And my best result for 5G so far the key is some timing and rtl work different way than on Skylake.

I think cache is about same as Skylake, except temp was higher on Kaby Lake that made it unstable ^^

My CPU, L639F Batch, vid 1.168v (On Asus), not delidded, try to find max clock that i can validate to CPU-Z. Vcore 1.475v (LLC Lv6, stable at 1.475v). Cooler Custom Water 3x120 Ambient about 26-28 Celcius. 5546 MHz 4C/8T

Try at 3866 to see if it scale at same timing.

Still 22 Edited (forgot to add something) : Sometimes before 22 post code 49 (49 too after 30-60s).

Sounds like golden chip, the best i have seen on facebook is 5ghz 1.14v
