  1. @ivanov: xabre200? in that case my 315 is chanceless, hm? ^^ @ziolopalacz: i´d like a competition vor my voodoo3 2000, too. but it´s not able to do 3d-mark 01 i have voodoo1, voodoo2 and even voodoo3... but none of them can be used for such a competition .__.
  2. and nvidia bought 3dfx, can i use a gtx680 in a 3dfx-competition? you realy extra buy such old cards for only one month-competition?
  3. yeah next time 3dfx too =) but a bench like 3dmark 99 that i can use my voodoo 2 don´t have a voodoo 5
  4. no prob. i´ve wondered, that there was no wallpaper this time, too. ^^ maybe i´d better asked instead to believe it might be right...
  5. NO! >.< now i´ve allready postet a result without wallpaper ok, i guess i could repeat it this evening after work...
  6. what´s about non-intel/amd/nvidia? 3dfx, s3, sis, cyrix, matrox...
  7. why not? the guys who buy a ivy in the very first days after release allready have sandy-e @ 5,6 ghz+ ^^
  8. is a gtx460 @ gtx560 clocks a 460 oc or 560? of course you can do everything with the hardware you like, but it still is what it is. in your case a hd4870x2
  9. that´s the problem: celeron isn´t pentium to me. and pentium D isn´t pentium 4. but the link shows the whole netburst-family including pentium D an celeron... the definiton isn´t as clear as in the other stages...
  10. and whats about p4 celeron? it might be easier if you just say the allowed cores like in stage #1 or the socket like in stage #2 (but in that case just 478 possible because 775 would allow core 2 duo/quad too)...
  11. no it´s great! it´s fun! and the only way to beat a GTX580 with a GF7025 i like the idea
  12. ES are never allowed in any competitions, are them? maybe make a general rule for ES?
  13. neck.mauricci seems to be banned, too. might it be a greater problem?
  14. stages by type of cooling? interesting idea... might give a chance to good overclockers who don´t have dice/ln2/cascade... and the others could participate twice: once with "normal" cooling and once with extreme cooling. might be interessting to see the differences on same samples...
  15. @knopflerbruce: sounds good, but one thing i´d change: i´d make one non intel/amd and one none amd/nvidia stage via/ibm/cyrix for 2D and sis/s3/3dfx/3dLabs/kyro for 3D
  16. you could maybe make two separate cups: one for the sandy-e/7970-pros and a classic-cup wich uses a lot of different hardware from different manufactures i think competitions with a lot of different hardware are much more fun and (to me) much more interesting... for example: whats better in aquanox/3d-mark 99: a dx6-card from nvidia, ati, s3, sis, kyro, voodoo, 3d-labs...? i don´t know but might be fun to find out in a competition
