Bit of both really, venue, sponsors (if we have any) time for those from abroad to either book time off work or get tickets finances sorted etc. + with it being that close to christmas, those with kids wouldn't appreciate how soon this would all be thrown together.

I am really not sure what I'm missing here, basically I can get up to 600FSB and use any ram setting I want with full stability, anything after that an I need to turn ram speeds right down to have the slightest bit of stability. Now I am probably forgetting something basic here but I've seen guys with 700FSB screenshots and over 2K ram clocks. Just a pointer really at what setting I could possibly be missing or forgetting would be really appreciated.

Whether it seems petty those are the rules, I agreed but hadn't said anything until now. I feel bad for the guy if they are removed but we have to be consistent in order to keep people happy and know where they stand. Now with regards to the potential Z270 "ES" issue I'm kind of on the fence on where I deem it "legal" or not with regards to the rules. In theory it's not like this is a product that is completely unavailable to users on here (i.e. you don't have to be Dancop or 8Pack to own one) and kinda falls into the same bracket as the Galaxy Cards which we never put down as an "ES" card. Again to be consistent I don't believe we should put the card down as an "ES" motherboard. Just my 2c and I know I don't completely share the opinions of the team but these are simply my own and do not reflect their views in any way.

I'm sure its going to get added soon anyway, pretty much every 3D mark does. But agree, its time!

Not long turned 22 here, been overclocking for the best part of 6 years now, been on LN2 for around half that time. Have somehow managed to amass enough CPUs to have more computing power than the whole of North Korea, not sure how I managed to afford it all....

Please no Kenny, I don't want to be dividing by ROPs and PCI-E lanes Or we'll have GT 710 X4 in a separate category to GT 710 X16 etc etc where does it stop ROPs thing I'm not overly keen on either, not exactly apples to apples comparison again since different platforms have different performance per ROP, AMD does different things to Nvidia etc etc. It's a nice idea I just don't see it being possible to implement in a way where everyone is happy. Whats wrong with simply getting more competitions together so that you can bench them for HWPoints and have a competitive competition for that card. Honestly this is starting to remind me of the same old issue with all of these threads. "I want more points but am not willing to pay for it". Unfortunately almost no competitive system works like that anymore. You guys need to decide if points or fun is more important to you and then go about pursuing that. If we start to hand out global points willy nilly then we'll have another XTU situation on our hands. At the wnd of the day the way I see it is that globals are rewarded for the very best scores from the very best platforms, if we start turning away from this then we start to lose touch with why they were there in the first place.
