  1. Pop the cooler off and check if it's actually a GF106 under there
  2. I've not had the time to check this further, but it looks as if the team cup might be killing some of the rankings pages, Allens facebook post made me look up 32M rankings and all I see is a wall of cbjausts scores. http://hwbot.org/benchmark/superpi_-_32m/rankings?start=0&hardwareTypeId=processor_1256#start=0#interval=20
  3. Was the score obtained without a license key? If so then under the HWBot rules for 3DMark 11 - Without Key: Benchmark window Web browser with link, score and run details visible
  4. Cost of buying an old system with a bunch of CPU's to test = $150 Cost of buying 1 Titan V = $3K It's not really a fair comparison is it really..... I'm sure you'll get a lot more out of an old system and learn a lot more too. I would suggest more new users buy older gear to be honest as it gives them a cheaper platform to learn on.
  5. Even though it would probably benefit my team if it were to stay with Venice only, I can agree that the stage might be a bit challenging and expensive for people who might be purchasing the platform for the first time just for the team cup, or even members who are experienced with 754 but do not have those venice CPUs to get hold of them. I am in agreement for looking at another CPU arch BTW awesome work on this team cup, I am really looking forward to this one!!!
  6. I'm just double checking in case of typo, we're using AM3 on the DDR2 cinebench stage or AM2? Both work just making sure there wasn't a typo
  7. Matrix 285 Sold. i975x, Maximus Formula II and GTX 260 pending.
  8. I can put a random E2160 in as a socket protector, I should have some binned CPUs I can sell somewhere too if you're interested. I also have plenty of good DDR2 ram kits I was going to put up here tomorrow

    WTB DDR3

did you get the Trident kit you were looking for or do you still need that?
  11. Sandbagging is not the be all and end all, you can even screw yourself over by sandbagging since the server doesn't do too well with people submitting hundreds of scores at the same time
  12. Sandbagging is just part of the game, you guys need to learn to push to the max and nothing else, if you're holding back or thinking a score is "good enough" then it's your own problem and nobody else's.
  13. +1 to this please, I understand it might be a pain to do but it makes it a lot easier for various teams to be able to organize things internally.
  14. Random question, will the competition page be exclusively on OC-Esports or will it also be on the main site as the old school comp is?
  15. Necro bumping the worst marketing idea MSI has ever had
  16. Nice review, can confirm been using their kits for a little while now and half always been impressed
  17. I have a half dead one Doesn't work with 45nm anymore
  18. Hi all, as the title said, I'm looking for either a EP45T-Extreme or EP45T-UD3P etc just so that I can do some CPU testing. If you have one you'd like to sell then give me a shout.
