Omg, those 540 week Bdie I do remember those were like half of sticks did wazza, half not. Had my set of first 4133 ever released the 19-25-25 from gtijason, they rocked 4133 12-12-12 until one stick died. 4-year old memorie
  3. I have one but will sell locally.
  4. Hey guys, During my recent binning of a dozen 3900X i've found two very good cpu's on ln2. I am selling this one since i kept the better one but this is like 25mhz lower across the board compared to the other one. Cpu did 5600 cinebench r15, 5600-5625 geekbench 3, 5600 wprime 1024M Easy to bench full-pot with 1600 fclk and 4860 C14 on Crosshair 8 Impact. On air this one is a beast ! Did 4500@1.2875V on stock ! air cooler with 20 degrees ambient cinebench R15. Looking for 650E shipped via paypal (buyer takes care of commision or send as friend) or bank account. Not looking for trades and also not willing to lower the price since binning them on air is quite irrelevant since i had a close call 4500@1.31 and it barely did 5525 and also another 4500@1.32 that simply failed to bench under -140.

Disabling points retroactively is a big mistake hwbot has been doing for a while. You are literally shitting on a lot of people's work and i know many guys that packed their bags for this. Geekbench is not fine for AMD AM4? Ok, disable points for AMD AM4, leave other safe platforms alone. You found out a exploit on something? Fine, disable points from now on on that benchmark. If a score is suspicious mods will check it. Something like this translated in real-life you will be sued and you will loose. So 2020 what benchmarks will get points on 2D? Slot-machine cinebench, junkie killing cpu's hwbot x265 4k, superpi if you can make it run on your platform and that's not easy for many people , probably till _mat_ discores some wicked exploit that 5 people on this planet can do it and then points will be disabled as well , wprime 1024 which is kind of slot machine again since on modern os's no tweaks work, gpu-pi which again is highest freq wins with a little variation and that's it folks. You binned mems, you tweaked your timings, you benched and you got a good gb3 score on older platform? well you are an idiot wasting your time since hwbot will disable points on legit scores done by you in past making your score irellevant and your work good for nothing. I quote here the biggest politician Poland will have in future, your beloved Xtreme Addict : " Nobody knows, nobody cares ". That should be hwbot motto.
  6. Excellent for sure, contemplating in joining as well, looks fun
  7. I see, yeah i used older one for geekbench. Glad to hear this. Any idea how stressful is benchmate on memory? With 4860 c14 i was able to run everything and got this error from time to time however after few restarts it worked. With 5000c14 i was able to run everything except benchmate, ran geekbench few times in a row but benchmate would never start, even if i reboot many times.

Eventually you will remove all tweakable benchmarks and let the click and run max freq wins only. It is not the first time you remove points for people that worked hard for them, i don't mean you Alby but hwbot. Why do you remove geekbench3 and not make a poll and vote for example. Also, has anyone else from hwbot beside _mat_ tried to reach geekbench developers? Every problem can be fixed with the right words, maybe he needs a little bit of tickling to make him cooperate lol. I'm just saying
  9. I sold him.this kit, does about 4220 12 12 with 2.03 tested on normal.ambient, i binned it from more than a dozen of them.
  10. I have a very good 3900X on water that didnt do so well on ln2, shoot me a pm
  11. This app has given me nightmares before but today was the worst. New win10, all works, i go fullpot on a 3900x, try cinebench, works, raise a bit rrstart, after restart i get could not initiate benchmate driver. Application is not compatible the currently running driver version... Reinstalled this app, same, cleared prefetch cache whatever, same, other benchmarks were ofc running fine except this so i had to reinstall windows. After few crashes ...again...same message
  12. Cpu is solid for sure however you should advertise this as 5400@1.45V. I agree it is nice when you see under 1.30V in cpu-z but you set 1.45V and on another brand for example msi or gigabyte users might reach same freq but they will reach it when set 1.45V for example in bios and in their case cpu-z would read 1.45-1.48 whatever. And yes, on asus z390 the reading method has changed and it is much much more accurate to the actual voltage the cpu gets. On Apex X for example you will have to set 1.45V, you will reach same freq while your cpu-z will show 1.488-1.496. Remember you give a voltage command to the board but the voltage that the cpu cores actually get is different since we have not yet found the perfect conductor. So if you don't wnat to dissapoint a buyer advertise what is set in bios so he can replicate your result. You say 5400@1.28, buyer has a different board, he tries 1.28 no go, 1.30 no go, 1.35V no go he will already think you scammed him. You say 1.45V and he needs 1.45 V. or lower., he will be happy. Long story short, your cpu is very strong since 5400 9900k on regular water is very had to find, the price is fine but don't over-advertise this...
  13. This looks fine for daily, i see no problems if you have a good cooling solution
  14. You conclusion is wrong for sure. First of all i benched few chips, some did had weird issues on cold, some ran full pot. Secondly in order to compare and have a conclusion you must have same overclocker and same cpu then you try both cards and see any difference if any. And third of all which is also most important. AMD's Agesa is like a blackbox, vendors cannot tweak it like they would see fit because it is hard-locked, that is the reason safe mode does not work like on intel asus motherboard, that's the reason why when you install a new cpu you loose all bios settings and many other things.
  15. Of course, tweaking auxiliary voltages is for helping with cold bug and other issues when going ln2, it will not affect core frequency on air/water, cache can be maxxed out with small bumps like 1.3 termination should be more than enough for pushing this on regular cooling.
  16. The problem is that AMD took binning to a different new level. I got to binn some 3600X, 3700X and 3800X. To sum up, 3600X every piece was worser than 3700X which in turn every piece was worser than 3800X. Problem is that after week 1923 ( that week is my good 3800X) even 3800X quality went backwards, i tested more than 10 pieces and they simply suck compared to the earlier one. Amd took the best chiplets for server, then threadripper then desktop, and what we get in regular mainstream is the worst of the worst. I am not saying they are not great cpu's but there is simply no fun since the difference between best and worst is maxxxximum 150 mhz. I am not sure about how hard is to be in top of the chain for overclocking however I know for sure that if you like something you enjoy every piece of it no matter what efforts you make. I cannot count the nights i spent in the cold outside the house in the winter to bench something, how many trips i made for dice in the beggining and then later on i used to drive 400Km to get 50 liters of ln2. And i regret nothing, would do it again probably and that's because i enjoyed every bit of it.
  17. payment received, kit is now sold, thanks for space hwbot !
  18. cpu was under water, memory were all the time with stoch hs i can shipp to usa, that's not a problem
