  1. So are F and G better with 9xxx training those speeds or are the newer BIOSes just worse in general?
  2. From all the testing I’ve seen on YouTube from the likes of der8auer and Steve from Gamers Nexus, it’s just a refresh of 7980xe with solder that can’t be delidded without killing the chip, so...yeah.
  3. Looks like you're right, this kit was 4133 and is clearly A2:
  4. Xtreem 4000 should be A1 shouldn't it? I know the 4500 kit I had was. https://www.teamgroupinc.com/en/product/xtreem-ddr4
  5. Crazy how high binned B-die kits doesn't guarantee extreme OC ability. I have a lowly set of Trident Z RGB 3600C17 that will happily boot into Windows XP 4133 12-11-11-28 1T, but a kit of Team T-Force Xtreem 4500 wouldn't.
  6. Lovely. Fix for a board I'll never get my hands on without spending copious amounts of $$$ to import. But hey websmile, that tip for the MOCF is working nicely!
  7. Not a lie was told. HyperX RGB 4000 easily did 4KC12 32M wazza.
  8. I know the pin short is correct because the CPUs work on MOCF and IX Apex, but last time I checked the ME was showing 0.0.0.0 with the 8350k so I probably need to re-flash.
  9. I couldn't get 8700k or 8086k to boot on M8i with the Coffee Lake BIOS. Any special instructions other than shorting the two usual pads together?
  10. I don't think the 6 and 8 core CPUs work on M8i even with the mod. I could only get it to boot with an i3 8350k.
  11. Anyone still have BIOS x5r for Z270x SOC?? I found x8r but it doesn't seem to be working for me and wanted to try an older XOC bios.
  12. Inaccessible boot device, which is what I figured would happen. I have no idea how Team AU got XP working since there are no XP drivers for Z370 Intel SATA controllers that I am aware of.
  13. Good luck finding a M10A though, easier to get M9A for some reason.
  14. I thought XP didn't have the drivers to boot on the Intel Z370 SATA controller.
  15. Did you have to train one stick and set RTLs for both channels first or could you just boot both sticks 4133C12 like normal?
  16. The fact that sticks with that layout work on a few other boards (M8i, X299 OCF) indicates an issue with most boards training. I do remember getting some of my RGB sticks to boot 4000C12 on MOCF by booting single stick, then setting RTLs and adding the 2nd so maybe that's what he did.
