  1. Do you reboot after you switch on CF?
  2. I'm most impressed by this result: 20 DAYS!!
  3. Sharing a CPU shouldn't always be considered as bad; sometimes someone has a great graphics card, but no CPU, in that case it can be cool to team up. Also, it makes joined sessions a lot more fun
  4. Can you all link some pictures?
  5. Adding the first boards to the database ... has anyone seen other announced products?
  6. Let alone that this would bring gigantic loopholes with it.
  7. The official ranking will be made public in the beginning of next week.
  8. We are aware of this, J.
  9. I guess we'd rather add a new benchmark than re-use an old one.
  10. Seems to me that most people understood "picture of overclocking rig"
  11. For this stage, there are no hardware limitations
  12. Asus can throw the ball to HWBOT if they use the competition engine, of course
  13. Gulftown is unreleased technology and therefor will not recieve any points before the retail product has been launched.
  14. There's no problem using the HWBOT database for hosting own competitions or using the HWBOT rules as guidelines for your competition, but you can't expect us to moderate your competition. One of the reasons why we've invested in a competition engine is that it's much easier to moderate this kind of competition: we have a shortened list of submissions, so we can check them all manually and remove those that violate the rules of the competition. If you're not planning on using the competition engine, there's obviously no problem using the HWBOT database or rules. You will have to check the submissions for the competition yourself to check if they are valid or not. With 400/500 results incoming a day, we can't check each. For the competitions we hosted so far, we've opted twice to not allow engineering samples. This doesn't mean that it'll be a rule in the next competitions, but it certainly makes things more fair. For your competition, you can choose: ES or not.
  15. Those are the only limitations Attached to this post is the mandatory background image
  16. This score was posted more than 1,5y ago ... SM3.0 is normal for those clocks; SM2.0 is about 200 points too low.
  17. Hm, did you test all bioses? IIRC, I had the best results with the 1.3B2. (or 1.5B8)
  18. Yes we do. We share our passion, enthousiasm, love for LN2 and drinks.
  19. I assume you also know this: I had the exact same issue with VTT. By increasing the PCH => solved
  20. What VTT were you running?
  21. -80/-100 is really low for Lynnfield, that might actually be the reason why the board acts so unstable. I'd suggest to start benching at -70°C.
  22. In my overclocking sessions, I did notice that the GD80 likes to boot at a bit warmer temperatures than it was being run at during the bm's. IIRC, I was booting at around -60°C and going to -70°C to run benchmarks. Lower than this was quite hard to get stable, only worked well for CPU-Z.
  23. Please elaborate
