Tha gain you get from it is not as spectacular as you may think. Especially your team points will go down drastically as you switch from 4 users that get global points to 1 user.

if the score's really old, we will not block because of a lack of validation. However, cheated or bugged runs will be removed.

That option is to allow the user to make the decision to not recieve points for a submission. Checking that box will remove any rank or points from this particular result. Checking the box is only a must if the hardware used is under NDA or by personal preference. It's not per definition obligatory for ES hardware.

No. It's a rule on hwbot that you're not allowed to submit scores that you've not obtained yourself.

There's no point; it creates more issues than there should be. So, in practice it would common to have either a multi-person account or a personal one. Not the combination.
