  1. Mainly depends on VGA - some use matrox cards, although i feel good with rage mobility and radeon 9550.
  2. No need to mod - just short all those 4 pins together to get 3.95v. The problem would be "cold start" - it won't post if you make this before post. So you have to short all of them after post is complete. I normally use 2 jumpers to short 1-2 and 3-4 and start the system - and after system starts I short these 2 jumpers with a wire.
  3. lottery. I have 2 similar ncp sticks with same chips/model number. One can do 2-2-2-7 170, another can do only 150 with the same timings. Look for tonicom pc150 and other bga sticks. Also try 3.95v on memory - some sticks may get boost.
  4. as 199.6 valid was rejected by validator - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2472686 200.1 fsb - same settings
  5. Don't know. I beleive GraduS is the best Russian speaking specialist in overclocking of S370 - he says tonicom PC150 and bgas from kingmax/ncp are the ones to look for >200FSB memory.
  6. not bad)) I think one need bga rams to get over 200mhz (according to what I heard from Gradus). However, mine kingmax bga is worse than 2 tsop sticks)
  7. if you would need any support with dumps let us know (i.e. i can dump tusl/cusl, several via boards, ecs with sis635 in combination with any cpu core - mendo/copper/tua, both cels and p3s at 66/100/133).
  8. don't clock OK button next time - all of us need to know iteration time also
  9. All boards on i815 do not show mem frequency if using devider different to 100:100 or 133:133 - no matter if you use Tuwee or Coppermine. However setfsb detects memory frequency correctly. However, Opty, try to find 133MHz coppermine like 733/800/866 - all of them are able to reach 200 FSB.
  10. i think it is easily acceptable. I have unstable pifast submission at comparable clocks of agp/pci - http://hwbot.org/submission/2302936_terraraptor_pifast_pentium_3_celeron_600mhz_188.82_sec (limited to cpu mainly). However, that setup should have been really stable for mem valid.
  11. CPUs are different - that is the only requirement of "no sharing" rule here at hwbot.
  12. the smaller is lithography process the smaller are barriers in transistors - this leads to requirement of less voltages. If we use higher voltages this will lead to higher leakage and higher possibility of damage to transistor.
  13. you had only to read rules before. I rebenched my sdr result just beczuse of background and screenshot. Screen is needed to avoid old scores and I appreciate this.
  14. thanks! Link was broken but if i google cpu.it168.com + amd lab overclocking the link is okay)
